I bought one of these after watching this video and it finally came in the other day. Tonight I was able to A/B it with the Dhyana drive and it was amazingly close. The Dhyana had a bit more low end, but the Dumbler held its own very well. Me and my bandmates were super impressed. Played it into really good tube amp at gig volume.

I just got mine yesterday. I literally giggled at how tiny it is, but the sound is really something. At $130k USD I'll never know what a Dumble sounds like up close, but this is a really nice piece of gear in addition to being super affordable

Jason, I bought one of these about a year ago on Amazon. It's made by Rowin, is true bypass, and has a blue case. I believe this is the same pedal. Chinese manufacturers put the same PCB in different cases, and sell them under different brand names. Really love mine also. Thanks for the video my friend.

Yes I have one. The Rowin Dumbler is Blue and has the Rowin logo under the light.

I have the Tomsline Dumbler.. its a great Pedal.. The Zendrive is really noisy, the Tomsline works great, sounds fantastic..

I've been wondering about these pedals (Donner has ads on my FB feed constantly) for a while now. This looks encouraging. I'd love to see you take a look at their inexpensive multieffect units. One of them has Chorus, Distortion and Delay. I thought that could serve as a little "leave the Helix home" pedal I could throw in my gig bag. Love the way you simplify things - just using the IR and the pedal is genius. The reverb is barely detectable, and that's as it should be for a demo like this.

There are quite a few manufacturers producing pedals called a “Dumbler”. I have one from Tom’sLine Engineering and, apart from mine having a “bar” above the footswitch to protect the controls it looks very, very much like the one you have.

I think I"m either buying this one, or the Rowin Dumbler this week. I figure since I'm a home player, how bad could it be? I'm just aiming for a mellower blues OD sound, in total. If I play Steely Dan, Dire Straits, whatever that doesn't call for the Blues Driver at max. gain or whatever. One thing I find as a home player using mainly my Vox VX50 modeling amp as my primary amp, it's easier to dial in a harder rock sound, metal, high gain, and high crunch, than it is to dial in a mellower, low gain blues sound that's acceptable and doesn't have too much dirt in the signal. I guess it does depend on the amp you're using though, too. And the guitar.

Sounds good, even better for the price. One of the things I do with my HX Effects is try to recreate the sounds of interesting pedals, instead of buying more pedals (there are exceptions, like my Source Audio UltraWave) into one of my amps. I haven't tried to recreate Alexander's ODS / SSS tones, sounds like a fun challenge. Thinking Tube Comp, 10-Band Graphic EQ, and Dhyana Drive... Cheers!
