The limelight and subdivision section made my eye tear up and gave me goosebumps. I’m 100% needing to own this and play those solos regularly in honor of one of my favorite bands. TONEX is incredible. I hope beyond Hope that Wolfgang Van Halen lets them into 5150 and just do every last bit of Ed’s gear they can.

Thanks, Jason! I play in a Rush tribute band here in Montreal for fun. I currently use a Fractal FM9. I’m not very familiar with ToneX, but since I know Alex has a long history of complex FX routing, settings, and so on, I’m wondering if all of that can be achieved on the ToneX. For instance, on the FM9, we know that we can create some pretty intricate patches and unique FX combinations. Can you do the same with ToneX to replicate all of Alex’s FX sounds?

Fantastic review man! My only question, in my DAW (reaper) using amplitube as VST with ToneX, I lose the modulation & delay setting? Any ideas on why they may not be there? Thanks!

So the other day I purchased the Alex Lifeson collection of amps. I noticed that it was only the amp captures and contained no presets. My question, does anyone know where I can find presets based on those amps? Can you buy these presets? Has anyone uploaded presets based on those amps to Tonenet? I bought the Joe Satriani pack and did not like the sounds. The amps were too bass heavy . Is this any better? Before I spend another $99.

That’s nice. They need to get the software so that you don’t need a signal splitter for better work flow. The pedal does sound nice, the updates are great but switching inputs just to edit is barbaric. It can’t be that hard to make this work more seamless.

Signal splitter ? You don't just edit within the pedal on advanced mode? I haven't had any issues myself with transferring but maybe you're saying something else?

@ I don’t enjoy navigating the pedal, it’s time consuming. If the app synced to the pedal it would greatly improve the flow and use.
