Good evening! Could you please help me understand why, in DaVinci 19 , when I add new titles to the timeline, I only get a black screen? They don’t display in real time and don’t appear on the timeline after being added. The same issue occurs with generators 🙁 All new titles and generators are not working.

Useful improvement - now you can adjust nodes that placed before Magic Mask, and a mask is not cleared as before. For example, I can enable noise reduction, trace a Magic Mask with better results, then turn NR off.

Good video, man! Except what BMD didn't mention was that they slightly changed how Multicam angle switching works. It used to be that if you right-clicked on the Video track of a multicam clip and selected "Change Multicam Angle", it would only change the video for that clip. Same with Audio. Now, it changes both if they're linked. SO, you have to ALT+click to select just the one you want to change. Caught me out last night when I was editing. I will say, it didn't crash last night, and I was used to 3-5 crashes per night of editing, so at least THAT'S improved :D

Hi Jay - great video but I wonder if you can help me. After installing 19.1 everything is fine except all the new generators and titles don't work just show a black screen. Entering fusion shows nothing at all and the inspector tab only shows the name of the title (say Circus for example). I have a high powered machine with 128GB memory and a 4090 NVIDIA graphics card so should not be a power problem. In the past when a title has not worked just changing the font or installing the one used in the title would solve the issue but this time there is no way to do this as the inspector only shows the name of the title. It is sooo frustrating!

@@JasonYadlovski Yep one of the first things I did. Incedentally I have the same issue on my laptop. Resolve help says re-install but I did this to no avail.

The greatest thing in this is you can rightclick any diall once automation is on and it will load up the automation layer for that track, thats gonna save so much time and makes fairlight beautiful 😅

Sync bins with folders automatically seems to work as expected using mp3 and mp4 files, however if i add other media such as JPG photos they are not synced and requires manual import. Bug or am i missing something?

Jason, when i updated my davinci to 19.1. I was asked to enter a license key while i am using a dongle. Have you heard of others having the same problem? However, when i quit the program and opened DR again it worked without asking the license key.

The update is not working. Anyone else have this problem? We have uninstalled and reinstalled the studio version. Although we can see the various effects it can't be employed in the timeline.

That's strange, maybe try deleting the render cache? I haven't had any problems on Mac with the new update....

I have a new system (about 9 months old, and it exceeds all of the recommended specs for DaVinci Resolve Studio). I just updated to Resolve 19.1 last night... Since the update, if I add an image on top of a generator, and then go to add a transition on that image, as soon as I scroll in the transition section, it always crashes. Also, I've deleted the render cache and I'm still having the issue. Have you noticed anything similar? I never had this issue before the update. Thanks

why after updating to 19.1, the audio doesn't match after rendering clips. is there a fix?

@@JasonYadlovski now it is far off. The funny part, yesterday the same clip before updating was working fine. Now no matter what i do it is off. The timeline and the clip are matched. I can't fix the problem now.

I wonder if it's just a playback issue. Maybe delete the render cache and let it regenerate?

Anybody else has PROBLEM??? - not exported all movie from timeline? when my project is exported I do not have few transitions, 2 zoom in, some little parts of audio (few sec takes) are in pitch down! (i didnt pitch it)? I have resolve for long time now and this is first time i see this when finalizing. should I reinstal it? (19.1 vers of Studio) tnx!

That's strange, try clearing the render cache and see if that helps along with a restart of everything.
