That's great and easy, too bad I went another in-camera route on the weekend. I set up a tripod frame, hit record, climbed an out-of-frame tree and jumped off a branch into frame. My Doctor say's I get discharged from the hospital tomorrow.

You could technically do this the other way around and do a super jump effect as well, and THEN you can do the landing, and that would be really cool.

i had a weird idea for practing with this : add in another mask layer across the top of the fence. add in some zoom key framing (maybe that's right idk) to make it look like you are jumping into the yard from behind the fence!

I'm getting a weird result, as soon as I move the postion on the freeze frame clip, the alpha picture disappear!!! I'm on 19.1 No worries, I'll try in Fusion. :))

You might have to redo the track. I had that happen a few times also.

why is there a 'faster' option in Magic Mask?...I have never...or have I seen a tutorial where ANYONE uses it ...I have only used it when I forgot to select 'better'...then I realise and select it...'

It just creates the mask faster and with less accuracy. If you want to get a quick mask that uses less computer power, you’d use faster. But better is always gonna be…well…better. 😜

Don’t worry, I do. Learned my lesson after riding two-stroke dirt bikes as a kid with no ear protection. Now my ears ringing all the time. 🤦‍♂️
