Definitely one of my favourites. Up there with Nutter on the Bus, Insurance Claim Forms and Magic Roundabout. All taken from "Jasper Carrot Rabbits On and On" back in the day. Absolute classic.

I remember going to see him many moons ago. I was in tears and one of the guys I was with just about had an asthma attack because he couldn't breathe for laughing. One of the funniest comedians ever.

I was at the FA Cup final in 1976 , Southampton vs Manchester United . The Saints won the game , Pride of the South , as we were leaving Wembley to get on board our bus to return home to Salisbury, I could see Manchester fans running out of their end ( Southampton had the tunnel end ) trying to get at Southampton fans . I can add that they werent looking for a conversation !! .

true about man u fans. English clubs got banned from Playing in Europe cause of them. I remember 1 match home against man u the bay city rollers were in town and the hotel they stayed at was on the route from the train station to the ground. lots of young girls outside screaming for their fav boys to come out on to the balcony so they could see them. man u fans walked past and started attacking the girls. Everytime man u came to r city every shop and house on the route all boarded up their windows. only club worse was Millwall. even the police wouldnt go to that as crowd control the army did them. When i was based at Woolwich arsenal every home game for Millwall we had to go along with pick axe handles with lumps of iron on the end to use as weapons. we had to stand facing the Milwall fans looking very threating to try and scare them into behaving. a few cracked heads and broken bones normaly got them to behave lol. I was always terrified as i was 17 at the time but looked more like 13. I was happy when i finish basic trainng and went off to my unit so i didnt have to go to Millwall matches again. they made man u look like pussies.

You got hit on the head too many times. Heisel stadium got english teams banned. It was blamed on Liverpool fans and those Italian fans were were also there. But Fifa are also culpable.
