I wonder if Jasson knows that probably over 10 million dollars has been spent on jist his 2020 Bowman rookie cards. Yankees scouts have a great track record signing High School aged athletes.

They need to time it right calling him up. If they wait too long, he could get discouraged and call him up too quick he could start off slow and gets discouraged. I read a few articles predicting a 2023 MLB debut (he will be 20 years old). I think that is spot on, maybe even end of 2022 depending on how they're doing (contending-no, will miss playoffs-yes). Kid is a stud and has a good head on his shoulders. After his first plate appearance he had a great quote - should tell us all we need to know about his character. Let's just hope the pressure doesn't get to him. I don't think it will because he seems to be uber focused. Here is the quote: “I fouled off the first pitch,” Dominguez said. “When the pitcher was warming up, I saw he was kind of out of the zone, so I was there looking for one good pitch. In 2-1, I was looking for a changeup or a breaking ball, thinking that he might not throw me a fastball in a fastball count. The pitch was high, so I took it for a ball. The last Mickey Mantel comparison in the Yankees system was Ruben Rivera.. So who knows I remember Brian Taylor & Andrea Robertson. So you never know what can happen. And you just can hope that it works out well. Hopefully he makes it or becomes a chip for another piece down the road. Anything can happen he’s just a kid now but he looks the part.
