Im sure someone else is also gonna say it. But the archon quest has nothing to do with unlocking the chasm. Its a world quest you unlock after talking to an npc next to the entrance (or Lan. Next to Kathryn)

@@caramelp3137 the archon quest gets you to talk to katherine at the liyue adventurer's guild which then prompts you to go to the chasm to access a world quest. from there, the world quest slowly unlocks the entire of the underground chasm, however you only need to progress through half of the world quest to then continue with the original archon quest. so you do need to trigger the archon quest (at least i believe so) to unlock the world quest that lets you go into the underground part of the chasm, however it's mainly, if not only, dialogue.

When I tried to start the chasm, talking to Muning wouldn't allow me to start the quest, he would just tell me to leave. Upon researching it, everything I've seen/read said you had to be AR 28 and finish the first quest of Act 1, part 3.

@@aarthritis i do think it's because you have to interact with an npc to unlock the chasm delvers world quest. iirc it was xingqiu's servant by the feiyun commerce guild that gives it as soon as you finish the liyue archon quest. i came to the chasm on a newer account to farm treasure hoarder coins and it didn't trigger anything until i grabbed the world quest. java might just have been looking for instant gratification though so it's reasonable to not want to spend more time just to unlock a boss fight.

Here’s what I would personally go for! Klee: Widsith Since she is your main damage dealer, it’s probably best to put your most damage focused weapon on her. Yanfei: Mappa Mare The EM substat is, although not the best option, good for having powerful vaporise and overload reactions as well as the elemental damage bonus Heizou: sac fragments I know EM heizou isn’t the best option, but it is still viable and since his skill is the main source of his damage being able to use it twice is very useful Ninguagg: Eye of perception Although she can’t really use the passive, this is still her best option since The attack substat is good since as a geo user EM isn’t very beneficial to her Barbara: TTODS Don’t really need to explain this, but it’s just amazing for her Lisa: Favonious Codex Since Lisa is usually used as an off field burst support, having ER on her is very important.

EM heizou is actually his best damage option, since he can swirl a lot with his charged attack spam. People in the HeizouMains server did the math, and EM-EM-EM is a bit better than EM-anemo%-EM, which is better than atk%-anemo%-em, which is even better than atk%-anemo%-crit. Seeing the math was surprising for me too but numbers don't lie

for klees animation cancelling-- i'd recommend using w to animation cancel over jumping, because if the enemy/enemies do hit you, you have a tendency to go flying back far further than usual if you were to be interrupted. i reserve jump cancel for charged-attacks only, in my case. of course, you don't have to take my advice at all, it's totally up to you how you play your klee. i'm just hoping i was of some help! :D

Heizou has one of the highest skill damage multipliers in the game so I personally think you should put the crit catalyst on him, however, klee is also strong. So what I recommend is testing the damage on both with the widsith, whoever does more damage gets it.

Given his characters, I'd say Heizou would be better off with one of the EM catalysts. He scales about equally well focusing on attack or EM, and, since the account doesn't have Sucrose, well, it just makes sense to give him the EM stuff and leave the attack stuff for the other DPS catalyst users. And sure, the Widsith can proc EM, but, well, 30s cooldown, 1 in 3 chance, and the weapon is at R1. Basically, not really something to even bother considering compared to other factors at this point for a catalyst only account.

But in Java's case, building a full EM Heizou isn't really helpful since he only has Lisa as an offield subDPS, he literally doesn't have a team for a reaction heizou. I think Java's best option is a SubDPS Heizou with VV who comes use his Q one or 2 CA/NA until he has 4 stacks and nukes with the E and disappears. In this case Widsith would be the best weapon

hey don't feel like you need to play. i also have two accounts and i take breaks on one of them all the time. the biggest burnout i've felt was before the Perilous trail archon quest/event and I took a break on both accounts. i had welkin so i only logged to claim that because it's money. not caring about resin is refreshing. it really helped, when I came back I did the mentioned archon quest and enjoyed playing again. it's not a job, it's a game, it's supposed to be fun. no point in playing if it makes you miserable

I completely agree. There's really no point in playing a game that isn't fun to you. And taking breaks is something that I believe should be done a bit more often. Especially during burnouts. Whenever I feel burnt out, I take a break from it for a few days. Sometimes even a week or so at a time. And I use that time to do other things. So whenever I get back to Genshin, I am genuinely enjoying it.

the widsith is DEFINETELY for klee, its her best 4 star weapon. Klee: widsith, For dmg boost and crit dmg, the hell ur klee has 50 crit dmg. Heizou: Sacrificial fragments, for elemental mastery Ningguang: I dont know, but i think its better to keep her old weapon? barbara: theres 2 types of gamepla for barbar: "the dmg booster + goodhealing - her old weapon" "or reallyyyyyy good healer - Favonious Codex" I recommend you to use her old weapon since it give her HP and an insane amount of atk for other characters in ur team. I use Klee as main dps, I use widsith. and btw do the other type of animation cancel, the thing where you click and then press W. Its way more efficient but harder to practice.

Favonius Codex is Pretty good on Lisa. Maybe with 4x Emblem, 4x Nobless, 4x Exile or 4x Instructor (Full EM Support lisa for Overload / Taser Team is also a good option) For Heizou, he is my absolute favorite Catalyst user, I gave him 3 crowns. Also, by the way, heizou’s best in slot artifact set is not actually 4 piece viridescent. He doesn’t get much (if any) of his damage from swirls, so the 4 piece set is kinda useless for him. In addition, the buff it gives to his teams is not very sustained and is not made up by the loss in his own personal damage. Instead, I’d recommend going with 2 piece viridescent and 2 piece gladiator (or shim or echoes or any other +18% attack set).

Which character is the best user of the Widsith? Basically all of them (out of Barbruh) wants the Widsith. I would recommend to use it on Klee, since she's your best damage dealer as of right now. Then I recommend to give the Mappa Mare to Heizou, since he can make a good use of the high base ATK and the passive and also situationally he can use the EM the weapon gives you. Barbara is better to stay on TToDS and Lisa can use the Favonius codex, since it's better than Sacrificial Fragments on her.

You should focus on heizou normals too and for building stacks you should do charge attacks because his charge attacks has no icd so it's faster to swirl and get stacks and he's a really good dps but your Klee seems more built than him and he doesn't have 4 pc vv yet so widsith will be better on Klee as she has some crit rate investment in her

Congratulations on your Heizou constellation and two new weapons! I really feel for you being locked out of the Chasm by soooo many quests. I have a couple alt accounts back from when I was desperate for more Genshin, and now I don't even go on them because everything interesting is locked behind an impenetrable wall of quests. I don't have many catalysts built, but I hear Widsith is good for DPS characters. Favonius weapons are more for support characters who need their bursts a lot, but it also helps them battery the team as well.

23:04 idk if someone's already mentioned this, but about heizou's "declension stacks" - the term declension historically meant a state of moral deterioration / decline, so since heizou prefers to avoid resorting to force, it actually suits his skill very well (the more he swirls the more stacks he gets)

The favonius codex is good on barbara, Lisa, Mona, and sucrose.

Barbara is not really a good option for Fav Codex because you need to build Crit and Dragon Tales is to good on her. Succrose would be also much better with Sac Fragments or Dragon Tales. Mona & Lisa Yes its really good

This is true. I'd say with his current line up Lisa would benefit the most from it (80 cost burst) since her burst is one of the few sources of off field damage he has access to.

@@Nowaylarry Right if I were in Java's situation I would do a SubDPS Lisa with Fav Codex and as artifacts 4x Emblem, 4x Nobless, 4x Exile or 4x Instructor. Depending on what he has with good stats

@@krummesblech That is what I did for my catalyst only account. Fav on Lisa with 4pc emblem since it had the best stats for her. I was also already running noblesse on Ning since I was using her as a burst support (didn't want to bother farming petra for one character). I do have more options than Java though since I have all the catalyst characters except Mona. Most of the time I run two somewhat janky over-vape teams for abyss. I can clear but still short of 36*s.

@@Nowaylarry Your Spells Only account sounds pretty good. I actually have a friend who plays Lisa with 1000EM at LV 90 and he clears the Abyss with an Overload & Taser Team at 36*. Might be a fun idea too

widsith is actually one of the best weapon for heizou. but i really think you should be giving it to klee for the crit dmg. anyways i enjoyed the video as always! love your hard work putting on these types of videos

I would def put Widsith on Klee, then Mappa Mare on Heizou cuz with his skill needing to build stacks, he can’t really take advantage of the sacrificial fragments’ passive. Fav Codex for Lisa maybe?

but he's still a bow user. I think Java wants to use catalyst and only catalyst for this series, not caring about other weapon wielders for whatever reason. We already have one for Mondstadt (Klee) and one for Liyue (Yanfei).

I think Lisa could use favonius codex from the characters you currently have. Once you get Mona she could use it too. Widsith can be good for any dps character like Ningguang, Klee, Heizou, or Yanfei but I think Klee or Heizou should use it.

I'm amazed how java can keep like three to four different accounts and still find time and energy to farm in all of them. i only have fun and I'm also starting to grt bored for the farming. did what java did and decided to only focus on one character at a time, so much easier and enjoyable. thanks java!
