We returned to Three Sisters Circuit for Round 4 of the JTSS Championship season!
After a scorcher in Lincolnshire it was monsoon season in Wigan! The morning session was littered with heavy showers which made competitors reach for their umbrellas, Rainsports and snorkels!
The dry spell came just after lunch, leading to a one-lap shoot-out to set the fastest time of the day! This led to a dramatic push lap, with two big saves required to desperately keep the car on the tarmac!
We were lucky that serial competitor (and nemesis) Tom Barnes had a sideways moment in the final corner and lost 0.5s, allowing our time of 1:30.999 to remain in P1 for the rest of the day.
This maintained our 100% record at the tricky little circuit, and extends our Class Championship lead to 14 points, closely followed by Tom Barnes and then Josh Greaves in 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
The next round was only a day away, where we'd get a second crack at Three Sisters Circuit - but in the dry!
PS. Shout out to Josh Greaves for his incredible drifting.
PPS. Apologies for the outtakes. Hopefully they amuse at my expense!
