@SalemGhassanHanna4 жыл бұрын
In the Hank Searls novelisation (based on a rejected draft of the script) the scuba instructor Tom Andrews had a MUCH bigger role. Also, this scene (or its equivalent) takes place after the helicopter attack, not before. Both the novel and film include a water ski attack, helicopter loss, two scuba diver attacks (one of them as the opening of the plot in both book and film), a photo of the shark as a plot device and a teenage boating expedition. The main difference between the two is how all of these ingredients are approached. It's worth checking out if you're a fan of the film, though (like the movie itself) it's not quite as good as the first book in the series.
@PungiFungi2 жыл бұрын
If I remember correctly, Tom dies in the novel in front of Brody, who unlike the film, did not suspect a second shark was in the waters. As for the kids, the only ones present in the book were Michael, Sean, Andy, Larry and Jackie. No Tina, Eddie, Bob, Brooke, Marge, Timmy, Lucy or Patrick.
