Because these people got a head-canon that Jax was a 'sad-boy' who 'just needs love' based off a preview screenshot of him from episode 2. When episode 2 came out and he was as big a jackass as ever, they couldn't stand it and accused Gooseworx of changing his character, despite the fact that apparently the first four episodes' scripts had been made long before the pilot came out... The folks that think their head-canons and shipping preferences take precedence over what the creator's vision is are truly some of the most annoying folks on the net, they are convinced that life revolves them and will attack content creators who dare defy their 'true vision' for an IP.

Jax strikes me as the most normal person in here. He’s sick and TIRED of being here. He just wants something exciting. Everything is so happy, he just looks for something in that repetitive virtual flower field. Ragatha tries to keep up the lie of hope and that’s great but hard to find in chaos. Gangle cries all the time and is soft. And leave poor Kinger, alone that man is broken. Zooble hides. Each person in here represents perfectly how different people will be in the face of silent overwhelming doom. Pomni - MC Kinger - disturbed Ragatha - the positive one that everyone needs Gangle - wears her heart on her sleeve sleeve Jax - unhinged and needs violence to take the mind off the situation Zooble - hides away their pain and steers clear of people It’s all normal

The fact how Pomni is Jax’s main target and how now he’s getting positive responses from other people and Zooble saying he’s a coward just shows how big the next episode’s are gonna be because I think that Jax teases people to keep himself sane and if everyone figures out a way to not be bothered by Jax maybe that could lead to him losing his mind and being pissed off then he might abstract but I highly doubt that’s gonna happen and if anyone were to abstract I’d say it be gangle or kinger.

Honestly Jax got better. He’s not that mean in this episode In episode 2 he was far worse, pushing his “friends” and threatening them. In episode 3, he just scared Pomni a little bit in the beggining not knowing was in the mansion. 1:15 No i think Jax was friends with Kaufmo bc he had a nickname for him "Kauffy" but when he saw abstracted Kaufmo he didnt want to cry in front of the others so he zoomed off quickly. Do you see how he was rushing as if he needed to get somewhere ? Well my theory is that he wanted to rush off to his room and cry. Another one of theories is that the reason Jax is so mean is to keep himself sane so he doesnt abstract. We have a lot to find out about Jax and some of the other characters too but theres definetly something going on with Jax because he acts strange and he's mean but he looked sad before Kaufmos funeral and mabye he didnt attend it because he doesnt want to show his true feelings and wants to act strong by not crying in front of the others. I dunno, its just a theory. Another theory i made up is that Jax had some sort of trauma in his life on the farm. I'm thinking that he was traumatized by seeing the animals being killed or hurt by other people, but ik hes scared of corn too. I cant think of any theory as to why hes scared of corn, but these are just all my theories. Everyone had different opinions on the characters, and their backstories, but I just like to share my theories.

Maybe it's just me, but, I didn't feel that Jax was any more extreme than he was in Ep. 2. I mean, we saw so little of him, it's hard to say "man, he's getting worse." He could be, but nothing immediately relevant stands out in this episode. If anything, if we believe Ragatha tied Jax up, I'd say she's the one who's changing, assuming she's never done that before.

I have a theory for episode 4: The next episode is probably going to be like a fast food place where we see Jax as a griller or cashier (which he probably doesn’t want to be) and know Jax he’ll probably want as much power as possible, so he switches his role to cashier or griller to manager, and bosses around the people he messes with especially Gangle cause Jax destroyed her comedy mask again as seen in episode 2, Gangle gets so sick of Jax bossing her around but she doesn’t have enough courage to stand up for herself, and Pomni probably encourages Gangle to ignore Jax and does what she needs to do, and then when the 5 members get out through the portal Jax sees Gangle happy even without a comedy mask because Pomni cheered her up and Jax thought… Pomni + In the Circus = Less Chaos. And when Jax thought this he would probably get mad at Pomni and make her pay.

I heard that gooseworx recently said that someone we "least expect" might abstract. He is a coward and is only positive by making people act negative. And people aren't really leaning towards Jax Abstracting. It would just make sense. In episode 6 (the episode based on him) we will probably see him show his true colors. Theory: A whole bunch of abstracted monsters might break out of the cellar by mistake and jax will cower in fear and people will find out. Pomni will question him about this. He's caught and has to tell the truth. Another Theory: In episode 4, Jax might know what it feels like to be bossed around. Orbsman will start yelling at him. Gangle stands up for him. After that, he tries to act tough guy but still feels bad for how he treated gangle.

My theory: Maybe Jax is using his annoyance to others to keep himself sane. In the show, jax from the McDonald's clip, couldve related to what he did before and in his environment, showing that it was alr bad in life for him, and Jax seems to always put it on "no fun" or "violence" but what if theres something under that that is just unexpected and understandable, Jax seems to be carefully made and he is usually laughing or angry. So if he shows any other emotions really it would take a big turn because anger and annoyance can build up something inside an character. And im here to see it.

it balanced it out for me. honestly, now that i think about, jax in episode 2 wasn't actually that ***holeish, you know? this one, and my recent learnings in psychology, showed me that jax still has a chance to be "human". Ok so I was watching a Jax edit (cause why not 😁) and the editor pointed out that Jax says “just be assertive!” to both pomni and ragatha in episodes 1 and 2. I wonder if an abstracted character told him that in the past and his personality is shaped from them like how kinger likes bugs from queenie. But on the inside, he secretly cares about them but doesn’t want to show it. Personally, I don’t think jax is going to abstract in episode 6, rather we’re going to learn a LOT more about him. He’s probably the most messed up out of all the characters so get ready to cry when it comes out lol
