Jax finally got to feel helpless for once, that jokes and pranks were done at his expense for a change. Especially so, he got to see into Gangle's Mind, how disturbed she was all along, and how his pranks and bullying had twisted her further. When he finally fished for connection due to the ennui of restaurant work, everyone recoiled from him. While Jax tried to hurt Gangle one last time on his way out at shift's end, he has learnt that he is truly alone.

I think that we always misinterpret who Jax is as a character. Jax does have feelings like the rest of the cast but, we always move past that since in the previous episodes he was kind of a jerk. I think in the upcoming episode where Jax is the center of the attention where we can figure out who he actually is, and how he got to being a troublemaker.

The only reason I feel Jax’s acts the way he does is that if he can just gaslight himself into seeing the circus as one big sandbox game with no consequences then that’s what he’ll do, since nothing about it feels real. Jax is a young dude, I’m sure he WAS an employee at a fast food place before he was forced into the circus. Nothing about their little adventure felt fake. He had consequences this time and he couldn’t weasel his way out of it either. He was forced into a situation that wasn’t just some cool adventure but an actual situation that most people go through in their lives.

This was by far your best video. This episode was hard for me because it left me questioning what I was even looking at but I like your explanation of things. I find TADC is more of a show that shows instead of tells and shows like that can be hard for me to determine what it is exactly the creator of the show wants me to take away from their work. It leaves a lot up to interpretation for the fans. I notice a lot more fans of the show giving Jax grace again, which I like. I never stopped loving him as a character.
