Integrity just knock it off #1 will not stop them as we see now #2 cheaters need to be called out so we know who they are. In golf if you get caught cheating on the European league you are suspended for life and you call them out to protect the other teams who are doing things by the rule.

2010: Bill Cowher: “You know, let me just say this: To answer your question, no, I don’t think so (it’s not an advantage for one team over another). I just know as a head coach, you are always looking for a competitive edge. We had people out there trying to look at signals. We had guys go to games. They would tape the signal caller and also write it down. They would take it back and match up the signals with the game film and certain defenses with certain plays that were being called, particularly the defenses being called, to see if we could come up with some kind of an alert for a signal. So, what they did with videotaping the signal caller, people do it with the people in the stands!! These people sitting there in the stands, looking at the signal, writing it down and matching up the 1st and 10 signal. Ok? Then you go back again and the 2nd and 10 and here’s the signal. You do that for a whole game. You then go back and match up the defenses with the signal. And you can come up with what the signal was. So, you don;’t need a video tape with what they were talking about doing. And people were doing it. WE were doing that. Everybody does that. You’re TRYING to gain a competitive edge. There is nothing wrong with that. That’s why baseball players go through the mirage of signals. They’ve got all these different codes. That’s part of the competitive spirit of the game. I think it’s totally overblown. I think if you get caught (signals compromised), then do what we did and go to wristbands, you are worried about it. We started putting defenses on wristbands. Then you find a way to not get caught (signals compromised). When your good at something and people try steal from ya, I think it’s flattering.”

The AFC East was an above average division. The Patriots being the first place team every year skews those stats, In all other games, the AFC East teams outperformed the league average nearly every year. The AFC East being weak is a myth.

every team in the league filmed the same thing
@ppumpkin32827 жыл бұрын
To be clear, the NFL allowed filming. Shortly before the game against the Jets, the NFL (which of course is run by former Jet managers) issued a letter ruling (i.e. it didn’t go through the rules committee) saying “you can’t film from the field for use during the game”, Belichick interpreted this ambigious statement as meaning as long as you didn’t use it during the game - which he never had - as the operative clause. So it was ony a technical violation of an ambiguous rule not approved by the rules committee - if you call that cheating - you must be really bothered by all those DB’s who are tugging Jersy’s during the game - nothing can effect an outcome of a game more than that. There will always be jerks envious of the Patriots success and fans of loser teams that will in their small mind call this cheating. By the way this new rule occured after the Pats won their first three rings. And they definitely did not do it for the last two. This same NFL front office run by former Jets execs then created the deflatgate fiasco, because they didn’t understand the basic science of ball deflation. We Pats fans love it when idiots keep protesting and calling the Pats cheaters because it only motivates the Pats more. If you want any more comeback you can scrape it out of your mothers mouth. Belichick has the NFL so flumoxed they paranoid that he is bugging their locker rooms, field communications, and spiking their food. Losers get paranoid and make execuses. Winners just do it.
