Jaya's father was a very famous Bengali author & if I'm not mistaken, he lived among the dacoits to study their life and wrote novel on them. Tarun Bhaduri was his name. Actually they are being respectful by not telling her we have heard this before. Some people are still respectful, attentive and loving towards their elders. My parents and grandparents would sometimes repeat stories sometimes we would have forgotten some parts and sometimes they would add some parts that we had not heard before. But even if we did hear it before we would still act like we hadn’t just to make them happy and to not discourage them and shut them down when they are telling you something with excitement. Just like you would do with your kids when they are little. Also this is part of the job they have a podcast should they tell her even though the viewer has never heard this story we have so stop talking?
