I was stationed in the Vietnam War in 1970, as part of the US forces, when I first became aware of Joe Cocker. I think I had a cassette tape of his, or it was played on US Armed Forces Radio. He was great! I just looked him up on Wikipedia, and it looks like he passed away in 2014. RIP, Joe!
