Jays 2009 Quad stomp is a legendary shot! Definitely deserves a spot on the wall in golds gym Venice

The quad stomp is legend. It needs to be up there!
@branchtana3154 жыл бұрын
I still think it's the most impactful pose ever, even knowing that most of the focus is on the upper body in these competitions. Just watching the video, it's like you can feel the Earth shake below you when he does that stomp. Incredible!

Seeing how jay has changed personality wise over the years has been an interesting follow. From his Ronnie vs Jay years where his personality was drier than burn toast (not a bad thing just very focused) and to now where he's embracing social media etc. In my opinion Jay is the best thing to ever happen to professional bodybuilding. A true well rounded role model in sport and life

What makes these conversations so cool for me is finding out the Full Time body builder and Jay go way back together. Had no idea he was on the team during the heyday and it's cool to hear the stories.

When Ronnie visited South Africa in 2004, when people asked him if he was worried about Jay, he always used to say that his doctor looked better then Jay so he has nothing to worry about. True story.

Yet in an interview ronnie coleman had recently, he said Jay was among top 10 bodybuilders of all times

Zaid Chalabi during the height of the rivalry back in 2004 there was no love lost between competitors....easy for Ronnie to be gracious after he retired and say good things about Jay.

@carmeliamaquiato1604 жыл бұрын
One can doubt Ronnie recognized Jay as an opponent. In his prime, he was untouchable, and he knew it. Ronnie still embodies peak bodybuilding. Not just in the sense of the physical attributes he achieved, but equally in his way of giving his all to the sport he loves.

@AverageLifter074 жыл бұрын
It depends on what you think of as a winner. Ronnie Coleman will always be considered a better bodybuilder, And Jay is considered the guy that was always chasing him. Jay had a far superior outlook for business, and longevity. Both are great for the sport.
