When you do unilateral exercises, perform your weak arm first. However many reps you did with that arm, do it with your stronger arm. That way your weak arm can catch up in strength to your strong arm but your strong arm doesn’t keep gaining strength too quickly

Deadlifts mainly work the spinal erectors and hamstrings. This makes it a great movement for making a string lower back to reduce injury risk (if done with no ego lifting). The traps get a weighted stretch and so are also activated as stabilisers., so help with upper back thickness.

For some reason I'm terrified of deadlifts. Ive done them before seldomly, may e like 2 or 3 times in my life lol, never injured, i think I had good form (not scared cat lifting or the shrimp lift or anything lol). I think it comes from the fact that its the heaviest amount a person can lift of any type of exercise. I'm so worried im gonna over do it and snap my spine. Which is weird because i have no hangups about squats, which seems to at least be a very similar risk factor. All the big guys like deadlifts, i might have to just incorporate it and start small and safely work my way up.
