I just discovered Teddy Swims like 3 days before he played here in Rockford, IL. Tickets were long sold out. I thought it was pretty cool that Swims was here because we don't get alot of famous acts here. Some thought maybe it was because the drummer is from here.

Been following him since early 2020. When he was still do only covers. Don't overlook his covers. In mid 2019 they posted their first cover in memory of Michael Jackson death anniversary. Rock With You. Six months later they were signed with Warner. Covers stand out. Got them noticed. His childhood inspiration is Otis Redding.

Y2K... The short version. In the race to the moon, NASA didnt have enough memory in the onboard flight computers for the trip. Someone had the brilliant idea of leaving the first 2 digits off of the year and that freed a lot of space in RAM. BUT... Nobody at Microsoft ever bothered to put 19 back on 69 to complete the year in DOS or Windows 95, so when 99 (1999) rolled around, noone had any idea what would happen to software when they released the Y2K Patch to complete the four digit year at the last minute. What would happen to everything written for a two digit year? We were pretty nervous, til we woke up on 01012000 amost everything worked just fine. 👍😉
