With LZ, it's easy to come up with dozens of songs which could be a favorite. Too tough for me, and I've been tuned in for a half century. The only pick I can make is between albums ... and even there I can't always decide between I and II. And if someone considers Graffiti among that group, I can't argue. I've always considered III the most interesting album due to LZ's departure from its previous forms.

Hi Jamel, I just found you about 3 months ago, while recovering from a stroke that hit me 9 months ago. Your reactions have played a part in my recovery. I love your reactions, from the heart, and I especially appreciate your music reactions from the 1950's-1975 music. I'm born in 1951. I tried to get your attention several times before for a great band from Philly called Nazz (circa 1967-1968). They were Todd's band before his solo career and Utopia. Todd was writer of almost all the songs and lyrics, and played blistering, beautiful guitar, piano and sang second vocal. I really think you're going to love them. Nazz

I'm so envious of you getting to hear this for the 1st time!!! This is not only my favorite Led Zep song of all-time, but one of my favorites by ANY artist. There's such emotion not just in the lyrics & vocal delivery, but the musical performances as well. There's just that certain magical something in this track that's nearly impossible to recapture - nothing matches it, in my humble opinion. Keep doing what you're doing - you're the best.

After leaving my Heartbraker, I was Going to California with my Black Dog. When I was Over the Hill and Far Away I saw the Living Loving Maid Boogie With Stu. I decided to Ramble On and sing my Rain Song. I was looking for Friends before the Celebration Day. I was going to buy a newspaper but I had No Quarter. Alas, after a decade of this it was Ten Years Gone.

You said it Jamel. Plant’s voice is an instrument in every song...so expressive as a part of the whole. Each of them makes an incredible contribution to the best group of all time. Zeppelin is the only group I own every album and the single that was released not on any album (Hey Hey What Can I Do). Thanks for trying these songs again, they’re worth it. Hope they stay up. Take care.

I just discovered you about 3 hours ago and I can’t stop watching your reactions. You seem really in tune with music in general. This is my all time favorite band. The stars aligned just right when this band formed. This is some middle of the earth $hit! I would recommend you listen to The Lemon Song. I’d love to see your reaction to that one as well. *subscribed*

That reminds me of Fast Times At Ridgemont High when he says to put Led Zeppelin IV in the tape player and then next scene is them listening to Physical Graffiti. 😊
@katstorm133 жыл бұрын
@@dreamweaver1603 I just read an article about why that happened. Led Zeppelin hardly ever let their music be in movies at that time, but they knew Cameron Crowd and let him use a song, just not one off 4.
@katstorm133 жыл бұрын
He said he'd rather just use a different song but not change the script which seems a bit silly, unless they had already shot it and didn't want to redo the scene. www.google.com/amp/legendsrevealed.com/entertainment/2013/06/21/did-cameron-crowe-use-kashmir-in-fast-times-at-ridgemont-high-even-though-it-didnt-fit-the-script/%3famp
@dreamweaver16033 жыл бұрын
@@katstorm13 that’s funny because I always thought it was totally deliberate to show the kid didn’t even know what Led Zeppelin IV was. I’m glad he never changed the script. I don’t know why Led Zeppelin is so protective of their music. They also refused to allow it in Dazed And Confused, but I guess they didn’t know some little indie filmmaker and had no clue how iconic that movie would become. I heard that Richard Linklater had to give up a lot of his own profit to buy rights to all the music they did have in that movie, which was probably a good move in the end. The music contributed to the whole vibe of the movie.

A lot of fans hated that they moved away from the raw hard driving blues sounds of the first albums. Not me, it showcased their growth as artists.
