Jaylen is incredibly fast for a guy his size. He would fit nicely in the Calipari dribble drive offense and lock down defense. The Kentucky fans already love this guy! Look for Kentucky to be a top contender for a national championship this year and probably next, especially if they sign Jaylen Brown. Calipari is pretty amazing.

This kid is legit he's not just athletic he understands how to attack angles off his drive, has a good looking jumpshot and passes the ball...not sure if he plays Defense but with that athleticism and strength he can def be a great defender

Glad to see people caught the Stanley Johnson resemblance. Their games are kinda similar but seeing that they rock similar hairstyles, it makes them seem like mirror images. I like his aggression when he attacks the rim. He goes to dunk it almost every time and its not to be flashy or show off. Its aggressive and authoritative. Can't teach that. As for the rest of his game..handles can always be improved but for a guy his size, not bad. He'll get by most guys that guard him. Success at the next level boils down to the small things: Is he a defensive liability? Does he go hard every time he's on the court? Is he a good teammate? Is he coachable? Skill and athletic ability only go so far. Hope to see this kid in the NCAA tournament for at least one year.

After watching him in the City of Palms and the Under Armor Finals, he isn't a defensive liability. In fact, I found him matching up with the opposing team's best player more often than not. He goes hard, but not in an over the top way. He's very patient on offense and lets the game come to him. But when he goes for his, he likes to finish strong and over top of people, like you saw in this video. He appeared to be a good teammate the times I witnessed. He also seemed very coachable. His ball handling is probably the thing he needs to improve the most, although it isn't bad by any means. He's very well and soft spoken off the court and seems to have a good head on his shoulders too. He will be a Top 5 pick in the Draft whenever he chooses to come out.

Its a new trend, shorter shorts are actually now the new wave with young players. Not stockton short but above the knee. I played ball all my life and about 3 years ago found some old shorter aau shorts that I had and played in them because I didnt do laundry. I was able to move quicker and had more freedom with every movement, especially defensively. Since then I play in shorts only above the knee. I dont care how I look.
