I am a lifelong Celtics' fan, the guy is a selfish clown! He can pretend he cares about winning all he wants, but his top priorities are statistics and acclaim. Did you see him padding his stats in garbage time last night? He does it constantly! Brown winning both of those meaningless MVP awards is undoubtedly bothering Tatum. Brown has always been the better player, and he always will be! The league will most likely shift their promotion to Brown now, and you will see the difference.

in context, i dont think the 107 playoff games played is a bad thing. its not like theyre in their early 30s. theyve been deep in the playoffs every year theyve been together (brown was hurt the year they got bounced rd 1) too good to not make it, but too young and flawed to close it out. theyre on the younger side for championship centerpieces, so its not like theyve failed forever. it just feels that way because they got so close so many times at uncharacteristically young ages.

Something very interesting happened in the last 3 or 4 minutes of this game in which nobody is talking about. Joe Mazzulla is very vocal about his religious convictions (which I love and respect). He's a Christian which is wonderful (Man of faith). A timeout was called and he walked all the way to halfcourt to speak with Jayson Tatum (Christian faith) and told him "HE HAS TO DO MORE"!!!!!! You might say more of what? Meaning Jayson needs to do more in that last 3 or 4 minutes in the 4th Quarter in order to win MVP. Joe wanted Jayson both Christians to win the MVP. Joe separated himself from the team to share that message with Jayson (thus met Jason at halfcourt). Jaylen Brown is a Muslim and won the MVP.... It's interesting to see a coach choose one player over another player do to FAITH.... The media also wanted Jayson Tatum. Watch the coverage and cameras... The focus was ONLY on Jayson and not Jaylen... But Jaylen Brown who performed at an extremely high level of both ends of the court won the MVP!!!!
