We accidentally saw a sneak peak of this mod in action about ten days ago on his Stream. To answer the Fuzzy Octolings growing in size along with you, I'm pretty sure it's because the game considers them as players. And you had the scale mod set to effect all players. Why the Fuzzy Octolings are considered players, I have no clue, maybe they're considered regular Octolings with edits to their design instead of their own entity, and sense regular Octolings are playable, it counts the Fuzzy Octolings as playable too? That's my best guess at least. Either that or Fuzzy Octolings are planned to be playable online after the final wave of DLC releases, but I doubt that.

13:40 they’re probably either really close to the numbering for the sprite (like in splatoon 1) or something else, so when the mod changed the size of the playable ink fish, it changed the size for the enemy octolings as well, probably. Like how in splatoon 1, the octolings could grab the zapfish for you. The others didn’t change size because their sprites are very different (if I’m wrong please correct me)
