I've had it for 43 years (I was 16 when it started) and it's finally got hold of my neck which is the most painful problem I've had in my life, it limits my left and right movement to an inch or two either way. The muscles are in major spasm and nothing helps. I'm resigned to a very limited life now and hate it. It's a horrible disease and wish all who have it to try anything to stop it getting hold of you fully and don't give up like I now have.

You should get an MRI and speak with your doctor. It's what I'm doing. It reached to my neck as well, but one of the issues I'm dealing with is brain fog. It sucks, but be smart about it and see a doctor.

I will suggest you to join yoga classes for 3 months then you can do it at home.. I do Surya Namaskar, Dhanurasana (Bow Pose), Bhujangasana (Cobra pose), Kapalabhati pranayama. Also walk daily compulsory for 1 hour without break. My pain really reduced to 85%. Twice in month it pains but rest of days I feel free.... It works I have stopped my painkillers.

Diet also plays imp role, try to take veg diet, regular excersize, yoga, cardio exercise, daily running 30 mints or walk for 1 hour, also visit chiropractors atleast once if your spine has more stiffness to do activities chiropractor will help to reduce that stiffness...
