In general, the TI units are faster in response to inputs. This is seen when quickly switching between sonar, downscan, chart, and split screens kzbin.infoUgkxeAxH15LxhjGlg5-CRYqjTGTEH0tbY4vk recommend The Hook units will show some lag on button pushes and screen switching. The big ticket item though is maps. If you install a mapping card such as Navionics or the free C-Map Genesis which has a lot of map detail, then moving around the map with the cursor or when running down the lake can lag significantly on the Hook units, but is seamless with the TI units.

Thanks for another awesome video. I'm a big Lowrance guy and was excited for the active target to come out. I'm upgrading my units in my warrior 2090 to the new hds live and am definately following your comparisons. Plan was to upgrade units then pop a hds 9 off in the winter to use with active target. If the lag is quite a bit though I might wait before purchasing the active target until they update it. Looking forward to the comparison video!

Great intro to this system. It will be interesting to see if there is any interface between this and the livescope side by side. Just fished about 30ft away from another livescope unit and had very mild flashes of interface entry few minutes. Tried the catch and cook on some kokanee last week. 👍👍

Very cool tech, man we sure have come a long ways from tying a weight on some monofilament and dropping it down till it hit bottom to determine the fishing depth. Now if they could come out with a machine that can auto process the fish into boneless fillets, and on bigger and ocean fish the wings or collar and the cheeks then we'd be talking!!

@TheNewMediaoftheDawn3 жыл бұрын
@@denisdelaquis1174 luckily for the fish, most of them don’t bite, so seeing them doesn’t really matter... You got to trick em. Like that HUGE Pike or Muskie that came in mid-way in the water column in the vid above,,, From fishing in Muskie infested waters, I’ve learned that is how they act, I’d bet that was a big Pike or Muskie. Even if they do bite, tough to land, lol.
