Great video - so reassuring to hear someone that loves what they do and is genuinely not trying to just sell you on their sponsors product!

Best video explaining and showing the use of the Active Target in combination with the 360 that I've seen! Thanks B Law!

Great vid, LawLESS. Can you do one where you show how you work an area with your 360 and you Active Target, showing how you are looking for one thing on one and how you confirm it on the other, or however you work the two in conjunction.

Awesome video….. I am just getting started with active target and so far only have 1 practice day and 1 tournament using it. Appreciate the advice on the settings. Also I just did the 20.3 update after my tournament and it looks like it will show the contrast a little different now.

Thank you, I haven’t updated mine

@@yourlakeforkguide1520 it changes the look of the contrast setting and has AUTO way up where A+10 (or so would be) if I hadn’t played with contrast I would have kept it much lower for sure. Your video is the first one I have heard about adjusting it that high which is exactly what it took for me to see them the best last weekend.

I feel your pain on the narrow cone but I also feel like if it was too wide of a cone, when you look at a tree it would show a fish on the tree even though its a little off the tree (left or right) if that makes sense

I feel like you should probably try a garmin livescope, much much better 🤷♂️

I have a unit also .I don’t consider it cheating . You still have to intise fish to bite . There not gonna jump on your lure. The biggest Bennifit is to see how fish react . Then you can figure out if your wasting your time or not

Is this mounted on your trolling motor or on a separate pole

this is the first vid ive seen someone using the 9 instead of a 12 or 16. Have you used the larger units to compare? Im trying to figure out if the only difference is size or if the larger units give better detail.
@yourlakeforkguide15202 жыл бұрын
Not better detail and the 9 works fine IMO on full screen but I can’t split it at all
@ccalxr2 жыл бұрын
@@yourlakeforkguide1520 thanks that’s helpful. I would just use it for active target only so that works.

Are you locating with 360 and defining with livescope? It seems like the hardest thing with all this tech is seeing fish and knowing what they are. Am I right?
@yourlakeforkguide15203 жыл бұрын
Not on live sonar types, it’s pretty obvious when they move around on it , I would say I use 360 to locate structure and active target to see if there’s fish on it
