The fact that he was going first, but the Celtics tricked everyone into thinking they were going for Fultz just to get some extra value from the trade with Philadelphia is pretty cool. The real first pick of 2016.

Aww that was so sweet. That’s why I hope he does not get discouraged with this loss. He is a talented , humbled young man . And Jayson it speaks volume that you came this far. Keep your head up we will see you again next year! 👏🏾💙💚

@@robertpetrie6847 I'm a gsw fan but as a basketball fan I can see that Boston is one of the few that can switch off 1 to 5 and keep up with all the movement unlike other teams that need their best defended to follow around steph and can't take a break during the game and they are pretty long but we will see it's going to be fun regardless

The one thing every son wants to hear is his dad saying, "I'm proud of you." It literally means the world to a son.
@CxpalotSZN

hearing your dad say "im proud of you" as an adult/young adult is one of the best feelings a man can ask for. i remember one of my finals games in high school, we lost the game by one point and i went home crying to my mom, she told me my dad was proud of me although he never said that to my face. i hope one day he says it to my face. whether its getting a job, whether its making the nba, whether its beating a team. i just want that feeling of my dad saying im proud of you because dads are supposed to be hard on you and push you to your limits so when you hear the first "im proud of you" as an adult, thats life-changing in itself.

Remembering Jayson as a 5 year old and watching him grow up here in the STL to become who he is today, it's amazing to reflect on that journey. He had some great teachers of the game of basketball in his life. From his dad Justin and his God Uncle Larry Hughes along with several others who played an intricate and important part in his life. to look at that is to really know that God has truly blessed him. He was most of his childhood a guard who just sprouted up over the summer like Mike Dunleavy Jr did. But aside of the fact that Jayson got game, he's really one cool down to earth brother which he gained those qualities from his mom and dad. Congrats Jayson. 👏
