The more I hear Tatum talk (especially after the Netflix series), the more I like him. Just Seems like a Genuine good dude. I’m Hoping he gets the MVP this year and Celtics go back to back 👌🏽🏀

This is why I think Kerr not giving Tatum minutes was intentional. He took a hit so Tatum can take it to the next level. Brown is a all star player but let’s be real Tatum was suppose to be leading the Celtics to that championship victory

tatum leads his team in points, assists, rebounds, and steals. hes shooting the 3 ball at a 36 percent clip making at least 4 a game. if youve watched him from day one, you know he has drastcially improved as a playmaker. the narrative of him being soft and "settling" is just unfathomable at this point. how can someone so good at shooting be "settling" just because theyre taller than average? Jayson Tatum is the poster boy for receiving criticism that not many other players would receive and as a celtics fan youd hope winning the ring wouldve helped but not one bit. watched the kid ball, hes changed his shot to be quicker, he elevates absilutely effortlessly on his stepbacks, hes actively hunting rebounds down. Put jayson tatums name next to anyone else in his draft class and lets have some real talks lol cuz shut unfair atp 😂 hes the best player on his team, they just win a chip and eveyrbody is out for their head, and hes taking each team on one by one absolutely wrenching them. shoutout jt. mvp season mark my words.

Before hearing this video, I went to the Celtics game the other day vs the Hornets, I recently finished Starting 5, and have just been watching Tatum a lot more… and I’ll say I kinda am starting to understand some of the narratives around Tatum being soft, why he was benched at USA, and why Brown won Finals MVP. He repeatedly settles for 3 after 3 being about 6’9-6’10 and physically gifted. He shoots more 3s then Steph (it seems like). He doesn’t consistently switch that gear and just attack and impose his will like I saw Jaylen Brown do time and time again. I feel like he sometimes gets lost in games if his jumper isn’t falling too. So I really like him but now I’m starting to understand some of the frustration around him and why some people don’t see him as a potential FACE of the league
@Alx11162 ай бұрын
It’s his fans that make him seem like the next coming of Jordan or Kobe. Dude is great but either his team or the nba is trying to get everyone to think he’s the new face of the league

The hate is real on my boy jt it's ridiculous atp he definitely not soft does he settle a little to much from time to time sure. But he is the best player on the celtics to and don't give me that he didn't win finals mvp bs either tatum is better than brown you're talking to a celtics fan btw too. Brown gets off because the focus is on tatum let me be clear after this yr I went the haters to stop hating after my celtics repeat and tatum wins finals mvp
@failfwrd2 ай бұрын
@@quentinjonesjr7130 I was speaking to Celtics fans at the game who shared the same disappointment every-time he sized up then took a 3 instead of driving. He is the most talented on the Celtics but on any given night the best player is arguable.
