@Demon Slayer Even if it's not, I could guarantee they'll re-release it for the PS5. Might do what they did with AC: Black Flag and let you buy the game on the new console for $10 instead of full price, provided you have a copy on the previous console.

2 years later, still arguably one of the best games ever made. The fighting styles, customization, story, exploration and visuals are almost flawless. Somehow they make an really hard game, extremely playable and not wildly frustrating. Packed with content but not too overwhelming. The attention to detail in every aspect is amazing. 10/10

Need a mini map!! Games that have a shitty one(Bethesda) and games with an awesome one(witcher 3), have a huge entertainment gap IMO. Give players the option to turn it off. Borderlands 1 had no mini map and was hard to navigate. The Remastered newer one did and it wad a HUGE improvement. Also development time doesnt mean that they figures out a good way to find your way around. Many games takes years and cant even get the basics down.
@dice1378

The first time I experienced something like that was in AC Odyssey, there was a normal mode with a marker for your next target, allways visible. I choose the other mode where you have to find your target with the info you have, like " NPC is in a house on a hill south of the market district" then you send your falcon up and search with his eyes until you see a gold circle where your target is. After you found it you got the marker again. At first I thought I could never play such a huge open world without clear markers etc. But all you need to do is look at the world map and allways keep south, east, nord and west in mind and look at the areas names, this way I only needed to check yt for one location, it felt pretty satisfying and immersive and you REALLY get to know the world

Fun historical fact: three failed attacks against Japan is what started the Mongol empire's decline, and it got the Khan depressed. The mongols would later try to invade Vietnam and fail again even though Vietnam was much weaker. (Seeing a pattern here with Vietnam xD)

The flute could be an item that changes the time of day. Watch him play the flute as the time moves around him, similar to the cigar in phantom pain or something. Would make sense since it's a stealth game, might want to approach a camp at night without waiting for the time to change.

It looks like the Icon for the Stances might say what they're for. Earth is swords crossed, meaning it might be great for fighting swordsmen. Water is a shield and spear so it might be best for that. The unknown stance looks to be best against Pole-arms without a shield. This is assuming that they have a stance that is best used against every weapon combo in game.

@@jayveeeee yeah even games considered landmark achievements like The Witcher 3 suffer from that break in immersion, although I feel generally that developers are trying their best to give players options in how they explore the world. Great work on your videos, I especially loved all the information you gathered for AC: Valhalla. Both of these games are gonna be so much fun to play!

I have a feeling Tsushima might be a starting island. Like it’s the intro for the story kind of like how it was in AC odyssey, then after getting into the story of the invasion you then get access to rest of the big map. I feel like several shots, like the one up on top of the mountain looking across the map, show that that might be the case. Either way, couldn’t be more excited, but what a way to kick things off, a big map, then once the game kicks it in gear and gives control it opens up to a giant map

non intelligent life form that’s what I mean, I’m saying maybe they’ll do that cuz they said the map in all the footage we’ve seen is waaaaay smaller than the whole map, plus they haven’t said much about the size or anything so it’s a total possibility we cross the water to get to a bigger map. Look at some of the footage, it’s clear that there’s a huge portion of the map separated by water, the games gonna be dope either way but if you put 2 and 2 together it looks like there’s a large portion of the Island outside of the small part they showed in the map menu 🤷🏻‍♂️ kinda what the developers are hinting at when they explicitly said “this is a small percentage of the full map”

This was the first video that stated the transition from samurai to ghost and the trials and tribs associated with that. Well done

Wanted to say i really loved the video. This format of blabla so many thing you need to know always feels a bit boring. A guy overexcited saying basic information. but it really showed that you did your research, the way you brought it felt genuine and not like a company just trying to fill a video as fast as possible. subscribed!

What I really hope for, is that there's a limited amount of mongol that you can kill. Imagine being a mongol, and this Ghost raids your camps, he never kills everyone or destroys everything, just enough that it would be a struggle to keep hold of the camp, but not enough to make it worth abandoning, and he keeps on doing this until every camp is basically running a skeleton crew. All you can wait for is for him to make his move and finish you off, one by one.

First sucker punch of the game…Ryuzo showing up to collect the bounty on my head when he was supposed to be helping me free my uncle. On a side note, the first thing I thought of the when I grabbed some bamboo or skinned a bear while riding past was RDR2 and how much time playing that game was spent stopping horse, getting off horse, and getting back on horse. As much as I love RDR2, the mission where Arthur dies is still the only moment in a video game to make me choke up and have to take a moment to digest what had happened, the streamlined looting in Ghost is a beautiful thing.

The movement / everything moving is Kurosawa style. Just like his movies. There's a video on youtube about movement in Kurosawa movies where they compare the importance of movement to a scene in an Avengers movie. Quite interesting stuff. I'll now be looking at movies a little different now. Can't wait to witness the cinematic feel/experience in-game.

Just like Horizon Zero Dawn, you have what's called concentration. It also doesn't use any resolve (the yellow circles). The things that are hanging that you talk about you possibly ringing to distract enemies are the items you loot to refill your windchimes
