I'm a single Mum, sitting next to my sleeping lil man, awake at 1am-knowing damn well I have to be at work in the morning- cause I'm strugglin and do no matter how hard I work. I look at lil man and I want to give him what he actually deserves, and it fucks with me hard. And you guys got me over here crying. If my son can feel like that some day, I will be so proud. I stay feeling guilty bc he is the world, and he deserves so much I can't give him. You guys that love and respect youe moms like that, and have an appreciation for how fucking hard this shit is-you the real men. And there aren't enough of you!

The kids will never know about the melodies, hooks, and poetry that made hip hop in the 90's to 2000's. I see it for myself. It's all tattoos, strippers, and big asses. What appeals to the eye, doesn't always appeal to the mind. Most of these rappers today are forgotten after a couple years. Tell a story. Be a story teller and you will be remembered forever.

We always had good rappers around, but ppl don’t support em, they aren’t mainstream, check ODDISEE - You grew up, you’ll understand what I’m saying. The most part of the kids are into the mainstream, it’s the sad part... Years ago ppl had to find for the good music, now the social media and internet shows the music and ppl don’t even try in the most part of the time to try a non mainstream guy.

Still gets me in my feelings. I didn't have kids when this came out, but this song made me want to do better for when they would come. I have them now, and I'm a good dad, but I don't have the money I thought I'd have. I'm still trying though.

Hello, I’m sure you are doing a wonderful job without even knowing it. Kids don’t come with instructions booklets and parenting is a life challenge. It’s easy to feel like your drowning when there is emotional baggage in a situation. But taking a step back and really looking at what you got and what others don’t and speaking to god will help you see pass the baggage. I hope 2020 is a great year for you and yours. Xo
