Used to play this in 1978 when i worked at Smarty's in Manchester. Hard to believe it is 40 years ago. Not a mobile phone or CD to be seen just happy days of men and women dancing to this. Happy Days

I was 18 when this came out just as disco & jazz funk were exploding in the UK. I still got the 12" in my record collection. Happy days!!

Gateway funk; I wasn't schooled about him being an organ player until years later. I Remember Yesterday may have been his signature. But for me this tune was the gateway to his music - unashamedly disco

Used to dance to this as a teenager at Cranford Disco, Middlesex, where Fergie was the DJ every Monday night. He was also at the Red Lion, Hounslow High Street back in the best days of my life

I used to play this track @ The Bandwagon on a Monday day night it was a favourite dance out tune, where 2 dancers would battle it out to the appreciation of the crowd, the dancer most favoured by the crowd would stay on & take on the next challenger it was a Hard Core Dance Floor Tune & it still is with the kids of today a Big Shout Out to The Soul Nation Crew & the Kids of the Monday night soul seen

I was at 1/2 caister, frenchies/goldmine etc... Was THE Chris Brown's roadie(friend really). He used to spend a fortune on the vinyl, but would never play stuff that didn't fit. I saw Sean French and got pissed badges etc... etc...

Mischtchratzer it's a Fender Rhodes, classic electric piano at the time. Still is to this day
