I was a teenager in the 90's & J-Hope's 'Jack in the Box' album' sounds like something I would have listened to back then. This album is such a throwback & I love it. I think my favorite track is 'Safety Zone', but they're all great. For me, it's a no skip album. I really hope you check out the entire 'Jack in the Box' album. It's so good.

I agree, Andrew. More is incredible! Welcome to the brave new j-hope! This man is crazy talented. And intelligent. And unafraid. Consider how often we've chuckled at Hobi being scared of things like bugs and amusement rides. Let me tell you, this man is bold. We've come to expect the unexpected from Hoseok, but one thing you can count on---excellence. Hobi don't do halfway. I have long admired Hoseok because he sees the clouds realistically but chooses to focus on the silver linings. I mean, these lyrics are intense, but they're not dark. Btw, I thought of Led Zeppelin when Hobi crashed into that chorus. But that growl and dance-on-the-rhythm rap is uniquely Hoseok. You made my day reacting to this one, Andrew. Can't wait to hear what you think of the rest of Jack in the Box.

His album came out and his song Arson also has a mv. I was so surprised and impressed with Hobi. It truly was like another part of him came out and I’m so happy he’s able to share this with us. He did so well! 💜 I really thought it would be Outro: Tear. Please react to that eventually, it’s an amazing song

This song was so unexpected but the way the story telling of the whole album unfolds is really just fun to dig into. Just love how much they just combine genres and styles. This is everything 90s grunge me ever wanted in a song.

Hobi said he started working on this song in 2020--it was the first song for his new album. You can certainly see how he would have been feeling this during that time when everything got cancelled, and he still wanted so much more! 💜

I was willing to accept LESS but instead, I got MORE. 🤪 The big Andrew grin did not disappoint! 😁 And the editing comments didn't make me snort my tea this time because I was still making brunch so, there was only a regular snort. 😆

The beat in this song is from BTS's Intro: 2 COOL 4 SKOOL. I'm surprised more people haven't mentioned this.
@AndrewBergSax2 жыл бұрын
That's really interesting! I've listened to it several times now and it's definitely very similar. The main difference for me is that the drum beat in MORE feels like how a drummer would approach the rhythm (not perfectly even beats, but slightly delayed and more "human" sounding) and Intro: 2 Cool 4 Skool feels more like a traditional drum track. It's really tough to pick up on these things during a first-time reaction, but veryyy interesting to pick up on after the fact. Thanks for pointing this out 😀

7:46 This part of the song is also amazing lyricism, in every line water is present in some way. 1. "Yeah I'm THIRSTY", 2. "SURFING on the beat", 3. "I'm in my ELEMENT" (direct translation of that line would be smth like "I'm a fish that's found water" which fits even better.) 4. "SOAK up the music" Someone who explained this way better is PD from the channel Form Of Theraphy. I would love to see Caitlin's reaction to this... I feel like she could really appreaciate the lyrics :)

0:31 Hobi churros!!! 😄 Oh wait, i just realised, i'm missing a batman bunny? 🥺 🐰 1:52 Ah, the smile on your face growing and growing as the chorus hits is amazing to witness. That reminded me of when i heard this switch-up for the first time, it's so good! 4:30 now that the album is out, I can only hype it up more to you, because yes, this aspect of it just 👌🙌 6:57 least common denominator? nope, sorry, you were looking for the least/lowest common multiple there 😉 (but you had the correct concept in mind with 12, of course!) 3 and 4 only have 1 as a common denominator since 3 is prime (yes, I can't help myself... sorry) This song is such a strong earworm, it has not let go of me ever since it was released, the way it's done just keeps me hooked, and my brain randomly will sing it again, it's just... aaaahhhh!!!! And based on your comments, I think you've had a similar experience? Thank you for this video! 💜 🥕 CFA

Love "More", always love your reactions. Also I like math so: it is called the Lowest Common Multiple. Least common denominator would be if they were fractions. So the lowest common multiple of 3 and 4 is 12 and if you were adding 1/3 + 1/4 you would use the lowest common multiple as your denominator (least common denominator) to convert them into fractions with the same denominator. (4/12+3/12 = 7/12) Hope that helps.

Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. My initial reaction was well that was different! Kind of disturbing. I like the freeze parts reminds me of Lights. Noticed Suga's Shadow hallway too. The camera work is very much an echo of Shadow by Suga. I mean they are SOPE. =0} Did not get a chance to read lyrics on the 1st watch. They like to recycle lyrics. Also, the lyrics can create new songs. ‘Eeny meeny miny mo’ is reused agree. JHope learned to rap and produce 100%. He learned from scratch FYI. This was my 14th watch. Like the fit and makeup. Some of the tone was cool. I was thinking this is Jay his other alter ego or Jack. =0p The band look like zombie's to me. Snickers. Fav part was the frozen scene and going through the spilled coffee. =0p So cool. This is rap/rock to me. This not a title track. Title track is Arson. 0.0 We going to have more bangers. Army always saying JHope got no bones well i think he gave us an answer with that X-Rey, lol. Hugs. Love u. -NY USA 2019 Army💟 Wisdom of Mind and Body said on 7/1/22 Hobi likes Dali's work.
