Very cool! A couple things I would have done differently: 1. Laptops are notorious for overheating without proper ventilation. I would have made sure there's two clear paths to fresh air so it can easily intake and exhaust. 2. I would have tapped into the laptop for power to the eyes. USB would be easiest, but you could also use the power LED for steady light when the laptop is on or the activity LED for flashing/blinking eyes.

Yeah most of these creative channels don't really tend to do much research to understand thermals and venting requirements for desktops, consoles, and laptops. They don't seem to understand 'yeah it looks cool, but you most likely just significantly reduced the lifetime of the device' due to increasing the internal thermals driving it harder than was intended. Even though he says he has to be careful due to airflow, the fact that he is willing to add all this stuff onto it tells me he doesn't truly understand the needed airflow. :(

I did have an Asus laptop a few years ago that was sold to me as a gaming laptop, and it did quite well. But for some reason, they put the processor right underneath where you would rest the palm of your left hand if you were using WASD, and after a bit of use, that became the hottest thing in the world. It was so bad that after a while, the slightly acidic nature of skin started eating away at the alumimium body of the laptop, and I think that will happen to this one too. I know Jazza left the ventilation ports open, but with all that extra fur and clay surrounding it, that laptop will get hot.

As cool as it looks I wouldn’t recommend gluing it on permanently, it looks like it would overheat very quickly thus damaging the computer
