Zora Xye I am flattered! I will sadly tell you that my writing tends to be scientific or technical, rather than poetic. Although the best of this type of writing CAN be poetic, like when a mathematical proof is labelled “elegant”, or when a scientific journal article tells a story instead of being just a dry recitation of facts. Instead, I will recommend my brother-in-law, David K. Leff, who writes very amazing free verse, and what I like to call “inner travelogues”, about how travel and experience lead to a “spiritual” voyage (spiritual in the broad, not religious sense).

Tony allen is one of the reasons i picked up the sticks 23 years ago. Still trying to learn how to put some of those rhythms down nicely today. It ain't easy. Sounds it, sometimes, but it just ain't easy! He was master and pioneer. R.I.P.
