She is the greatest scatter I've heard, and she's just getting started. She has the vocabulary and harmonic awareness of a top level instrumentalist, plus soulful blues, mad swing and best of all, total authenticity.
@ibrahimmoss2 жыл бұрын
When I first heard her scat, I thought I was listening to a horn player. I later discovered she is a trumpeter. So it made sense. I would put her among an elite category of female jazz singers who scat. Not to compare her to anyone else, but one cannot overlook Ella Fitzgerald. She remains the queen.

Swift performed at the Detroit Jazz Fest a few years ago and her presence was absolutely boring. We weren’t all that impressed.
