girls pls dont settle for anyone who makes you feel bad about your body, they should only make you feel more special/beautiful/confident!! when i was younger i had a lot of sudden growth spurts and as a result i have a lot of really long and noticeable growth scars all across my lower back. one of the first times cuddling with my boyfriend, he put his hand on my back and i got embarrassed. at first he was concerned and asked what they were from (like if i’d gotten hurt lol), but once i explained he seemed relieved haha i was super self conscious at first and was scared he wouldn’t be attracted to me anymore but now he actually likes them and says he likes to feel them when he rubs my back :) i think no matter how insecure some of your features may make you, if someone truly loves you and cares about you they will NOT make you feel bad for it!!!

i can kind of get where hes coming from maybe he means ur too obsessed as in, in an unhealthy way? or the average like kpop fan stigma is in his head but id like to not assume the worst and maybe hes just worried for u in general! Tell him how u feel in detail to clear the air I do think theres a limit to how it could get unhealthy if ur too emotionally attached to an idol tho! Saying this as someone who barely listens to kpop/doesnt look into the ongoings of the idols' life at all

I really hope he's not operating from an "obsessed fangirl" stereotype perspective. If he is, I don't think that's very good... He should be able to see and respect you as you are, not based on stereotypes. Hopefully it's not like that, but if you're feeling like you need to suppress that interest as a result, it might be better to talk it out and see if he's someone who can understand what your idol actually means to you-or if he doesn't quite understand, then at the very least respect your interests-or if he's someone who's not a right fit for you. And hopefully it's not some kinda jealousy thing...? In which case it's a question of whether he's gonna be able to work through that. IDK if I have the answers you need but I'm rooting for you!! 💕
