Poor Steve it's because his voice is so low! Teddy's 'voice' was high, you can hear high pitch better I think!
@miro69605 жыл бұрын
It's the opposite actually, high pitch is harder to hear. As far as I know, anyone feel free to correct me
@MsBethylou5 жыл бұрын
@@miro6960 doesn't it depend on your type of deafness? Seems like Jazzy hears high pitched things! I may be wrong!
@rocace66355 жыл бұрын
All I remember is that women can hear high voices better because of an evolutionary trait to hearing babies cry! So yes she probably heard Steve worse because of his low voice!
@0oMadisono05 жыл бұрын
Miro ` that’s not necessarily true. in general, yes, people tend to have better hearing in the lower frequencies rather than high, usually seen with age related hearing loss. not always though! it just depends on the person and type of deafness :)
@shayelea5 жыл бұрын
Definitely depends on the type of hearing loss and probably also the specifics of how her cochlear implant is programmed. I’m not deaf by any means, but I do have a bit of hearing loss, and my loss is in low frequencies, whereas my high frequency hearing is actually super acute. It seems pretty clear that Jazzy can hear high pitches better than low, based on the results!

Loved watching this! I think I would win since I am starting to hear really with my right sided cochlear implant and have started to learn not to rely on lipreading. I have gotten the words right when I couldn't see my Speech Language Pathologist lips and also yesterday when my Audiologist tested me and before I had right sided cochlear implant surgery I was at 0 word recognition and yesterday when she tested me I am at 68% word recognition. I am hoping to have my left ear done someday.

I just want to say that I discovered your channel yesterday and I have been watching a lots of your videos and I am stuck ! I love your energy! I am a hearing Impaired guy from Sweden and I have noticed that signs in your language means different in Swedish sign language. So I recognised couple of signs and than realised that it is a different meaning in your sign language . For example the sign that means “thank you” in your sign language , mean “good” in Swedish sign language.

I LOVE your channel and it's really refreshing to see that there are channels like yours out there to show people that being deaf isn't really all that different and you have normal lives just like everyone else. My mom has taught me so much and I wouldn't replace her for the world. Thanks for running such a posative informative and also an inspiring channel. There's so many negative channel's that are out there right now and YOU came into my recommendations like a bright shining star (that you are☆) just a couple week's ago and I'm glad I subscribed. Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family and I hope your Holliday's are as bright and beautiful as you are.🌟☄🇺🇸💕

Likely she can hear a little! A lot of deaf people have minimal hearing, but in order to really understand, they have to combine that little bit of hearing with lip reading or sign language. The over enunciation her family is doing is probably helping her ‘hear’ better eta: I’m not deaf, this is just what I’ve learned in classes/online

Hi Jazzy!!! I loveeee you and your video's. I have'nt been watching your video's that long(I think for 2 weeks now). And I really admire BSL and I love watching video's of you and your familiy signing. I have watchted a lot of video's this weeks, but I do still have 2 questions I'm really curious about. It looks like you can talk in very good grammer. Can you read and write as good as a hearing person can in English? Or is that a bit harder for you, Sorry that I don't know. And as second, why is your voice like a bit softer and higher when you are signing? Nothing wrong but I am so curiuous if you are ABLE to talk like a hearing person with the deep voice. I can image that it is hard for you because you never know how they sound, but are you aware of the fact that you sound a bit different?? If there is anyone who know's the answers, I would like to hear :))))))) I love all your video's Jazzy and you have a new subscriber
