@@ccox7198 I'm learning ASL and I can't make heads or tails of BSL lol Auslan made sense, Swedish sign language made sense but BSL is kicking my butt XD Heck, even LSQ makes more sense to me than BSL(not by much....lol) Edit: The BSL sign for "What" is the ASL sign for "Where", the BSL sign for "Hearing" is the ASL sign for "Deaf", etc there are a lot of little things in BSL that are just not quite the same in ASL but use the same sign and it throws me for a loop every time I see it lol

I love seeing these type of videos with your family. It's so much fun seeing your parents react to your fingerspelling. Your mum saying, "Please slow down for the older people." So funny! 🤣🤣🤣 When fingerspelling and signing with my brother, he is also really fast and I need him to slow down as well, haha!! Thank you for the video, Jazzy and family. It was a lot of fun. For a future challenge idea, perhaps having your family communicate only in sign for 24 hours everywhere you all go ( unless you have already done this, and if so, I am sorry ). I had a nice Christmas, thank you. I hope your holiday was wonderful. Happy New Year to you and your family. I wish you all the best for 2020. 👍🤟🤗🎉🥳

I'm learning french belgian sign language at university and it's so interesting to see the differences, even in finger spelling, like I could only understand 3 letters (C, N, M). I understand more finger spelling in ASL and french sign language. It makes me want to learn more of BSL tho, and even other sign languages too

Even if I knew BSL (I know ASL alphabet) that is too fast for me to interpret from the symbols to the letters I know and then to add the letters into a word. I am amazed how fast ppl who are deaf can do or interpret letters. Honestly, I'm an AVK learner (see it, hear it, do it), not an audio learner, so it is harder for me to hear letters and make sense of them compared to visual information With this, it's symbols to sounds to making sense of a word But for her, the symbols instantly mean that letter to her But I relate to how Jazzy has to effort to make sense of sounds (with the cochlear) I'm HoH, and have to effort to interpret sounds into meaning
