The most crucial feature you get with the ultimate package that is NOT listed on the Ford website: Electronic steering assist. Do not buy a Lariat without this feature. It makes all the difference in the driving and handling at both slow and higher speeds. You know if you have it by looking at the driver side wheel well. If there is a long vertical silver "dog bone" near the front shock, it is installed. This feature is also the only way you can have trailer back up assist if that is something you want.

Yes in 23 you can get power deployable running boards as a stand alone option. I have it on mine.

The front parking sensor will turn on the front camera when you get close to something.

💯 I’d skip the $900 fancy white paint on a Larryette😂 Will Ford let you add the sport appearance package on its own without the Larryette Ultimate package as well?

Each new generation of truck models the front edge of the hood gets higher and front blind spot grows. The manufacturers are having to add front cameras to compensate. I think they should start sloping the hoods downward for better visibility.

I agree, I don't see why they can't make the front end a tab longer too, to help with the slope you're talking about.

False. The pwr running boards are $1000 WITHOUT the Ultimate Pkg. With the Pkg they are $0 but you must remember to select them.

I used to think it was but I eventually came to the same conclusion. If you're gonna drop the dough for a Lariat Ultimate, just go Platinum.

Agreed, the truck is pretty loaded as is! I’d probably get the base lariat with no extra packages, great truck all around
