Thanks, JB. This is one of the better comparisons of trim levels I've seen between closely matched Rams. I have a 2017 Limited and most of today's Laramie trim has what you could only get on the Limited in 17.

If your Ram 1500 has Halogen rear tail lights google machine Recon. They make led conversion tail lights that simply plug into the oem harness. Reminder though, if your state does inspections, keep the factory tail lights to pass and swap back to Recon. Looks good on my night edition and have used since 2021.

I drove them both, could not justify the Limited. I got the same truck, Laramie, with Chrome logos and semi chrome wheels, for 60K out the door, in NJ. I love it, I mean, I love this truck. The S.O I-6 is fantastic, very powerful, 420 HP way more than enough for me. Takes regular gas. Super comfortable, smooth as butter. I replaced all bulbs to LED to match the headlights and they look so good. The LED combo was $260.00 for every bulb. If this I-6 will run well, Stellantis can be a winner in the truck market. One impressive thing about the I-6 is the lack of vibes at almost any RPM, fantastic !!!!

I like the Limited but hate they force you to get air suspention and power side steps. Fine if you only keep your truck for a couple years but if you plan to keep your truck for 10-20 years then those things are just going to break at some point.

The trailer has a gross weight of 9,000LBS. I'm torn whether I want a diesel or gas and from which manufacturer. Good video! Hate watching them though cause all the boo-birds come out 😂. Year over year things rise in price, even with minimal inflation. Salaries and wages go up, materials go up, etc. There are plenty of trucks available to fit every budget, so there are options out there beyond these two trims (or this brand). In other news, the HO is way smoother than the Hemi could ever dream of being and so much more fun to drive!

I love the fact that they redesigned the ram 1500 but there is one thing I just can’t wrap my head around is why didn’t they transfer the V8 over to the redesign and I feel like the tail lights are a downgrade from the previous ones the old ones tail lights just look better but if they could fix those problems, I just named I’ll be in love but I’m I’m hoping to get into a 2024 next year 🤞 overtime here I come

Shame the Laramie lost a few standard options, 12 way seats & LED tails. I have a 20 Laramie that gave me more than BH optioned out at a higher price, but BH still lacked a few things, would have at the time. The main reason I would want a Limited now is the HO with the forged internals & the axle upgrades. To bad they don't offer these as an upgrade option to help keep the price down in the Laramie bc I can live w/o some of those extras, air sup & ran boxes mainly, some interior stuff too. And at what $ point just go the Tungsten then? Just all stupidly over priced now.

Both are way overpriced. I saw on another channel where they said they are going to cut prices by 13,500. Which is great for the cheaper trucks but it will leave these trucks still way overpriced by a lot. 13,500 off these is about what 15% or so, on a truck that increased prices by 60%. My 2020 Denali 2500 Duramax was stickered at $78,400 brand new. Got it for $70k. NO half ton is worth over that PERIOD. I dont care what gimmick tailgate, screens or engine they have.

exactly! I was talking gasser but that’s even better getting a diesel for that. I’m all about 65-75k but 100k on some trucks is crazy. I’m like I can level/lift tires tint etc and for a few extra thousand and still be right at or under 70k. This truck is all stock lol
