Hi Julian. Well worth the wait for part three ! The images are all fantastic but the Latrigg shot is outstanding. So pleased for you that you finally got decent light - you certainly made the most of it. I'm glad you got something really worthwhile from your trip. I know your viewers did, so thank you for sharing Julian. P.S. I had a little smile to myself at 2:25 when you said you were definitely going back for breakfast - knew you wouldn't make it (again !)....

Cheers Tim, glad you liked this one and the other two parts. That shot definately made the whole trip worth it. I tell you though, I was sure I was getting back for breakfast that day. But as you saw, how could you walk away for light like that! :-)

I remember being up on that hill a few December's ago when Keswick flooded with bad storms and being caught in a huge hail storm. I was curled up on the bench being pelted by huge hail stones. On a happier note my D850 will be with me by Thursday next week!

This has been a thoroughly enjoyable series Julian. It’s a good job you only stayed for 3 days, many more missed meals and you would lose your trousers on the hikes!😱 Considering the weather, you made some lovely images, my favourite being the one of Latrigg. Hey Julian, I had a quick question. How big is the lake district and is it all open access to photographers? It always seems so clean and cared for. Really seems an awesome place.
@jbairdexp7 жыл бұрын
Hi Philip, it's over 2300 square km. It's a national park so very accessible by the general public and photographers alike. There will be some private land and no access areas, but on the whole is open to everyone. :-)
