Wow din ako kay JUSTICE NOEL TIJAM ..nakalala ko sila sa mga oral arguments .He spoke with from heart .and Spirit . THE BIBLE SAID : WHOEVER SPOKE FROM THE HEART SO IS HE " nakilala ko sya oral arguments ( sereno ) nadismaya ako kung paano mag salita c sereno (to defend her ground ) para syang palengkera at nasa panic mood At narinig ng madla kung paano sumagot ) kahiyahiya sa akin Ang JBC . Well said Justice Tejam, most judges and lawyers have lost sight of their purpose, and need to be retrained. Unless these judges and lawyers have unjustly lost someone dear to them... empathy.... has to come through as a judicial reform. I hope that will come sooner than later.

THE INTERVIEWS ARE WANTING BECAUSE THEY HAVE DIFFERENT SETS OF QUESTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF THE INTERVIEWS IS ONE ON ONE WITHOUT THE OTHER CANDIDATES PRESENT BUT ONLY THE APPLICANT AND THE SAME SETS OF QUESTIONS WERE USED. THEN THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION IS ASKED IN A DEBATE FORM OF Q AND A. QUESTIONS SHOULD BE ABOUT LAWS ABOUT CASES ALREADY SETTLED IN COURTS, PRESENT PROBLEMS OF THE JUDICIARY AND THEIR QUESTIONABLE JUDGEMENT NOT SEATING WELL WITH THE PUBLIC. WITH THESE QUESTIONS THEY CAN ASCERTAIN THE KNOWLEDGEABLE APPLICANTS.

Bones De guzman a very good and timely food for thought to all concerned. The hardest thing tu hurdle though is the biases inherent to everybody. With it, there is no strong foundation for every judgement or courses of action ahead.

Internal Strife? Justice Tijam seem to forget the danger of the SC being politicised just like what happened with CJ Sereno. What transpired then is a present history in the judicial system in the Philippines. Am not a lawyer but i do use my common sense inside my little gray matter.
