Hi ! A very interesting and informative vlog! Lots of bullet holes in the car ! Bonnie and Clyde were famous people now and back in the day ! My friend years ago had two horses named after them ! They always ran away, ate peoples gardens, and stood in the middle of the road when cars were driving through!! Aptly named I would say ! LoL !! Take care and have fun on your adventures !!!! Another excellent episode. Impressed with Hamer's strength of character...a true lawman. I think he lived for truth and that's how he was able to marry his wife with her difficult past. What a time in America, when men were men. Scott said to let you know, not to touch the artifacts on the headstones...reverence. Thank you for another great episode!

That was a good video as it reminded me I saw the car up close Bonnie & Clyde were shot up in, sometime around 2007. It was on display at Boomtown, just outside of Reno, NV on Hwy 80. I had reached across the partition ropes and touched a bullet hole just before I saw a sign that read "Touching this car is believed to bring bad luck!" 😩

I am really glad to finally see this show. Just as I expected you did an excellent job of digging up a lot more information than what I had provided. I think that James Michener is probably the most important person buried in that cemetery. Your descriptions of LBJ were spot on. He was one of the leaders of the "Good Ole Boys" in Texas. I actually got to go visit his ranch just outside of Johnson City, TX. And was able to do it during the period that he was our President. There were tons of Secret Service, Texas Rangers and DPS officers all over there. My Great Aunt took her Sister (my Grandmother), my Sister and my 3 brothers to go visit his ranch. It was quit impressive and beautiful. I will share a picture of us sitting on the fence at LBJ's home. In closing, I really do appreciate the job you have done here. Hope you enjoyed your time with your Son while you were in Austin! Take care!

Jeff, very interesting video thank you so much for sharing. My grandmother Tracy lived in Kansas in the Southeast corner of the state. She lived in a little town called capaldo which is now Frontenac Kansas, and when she was a young girl she remember seeing Bonnie and Clyde being chased by the Kansas state police after they had robbed a bank in Arma. My grandmother said she saw them a few times driving around Pittsburgh and capaldo because Bonnie and Clyde had family in Joplin Missouri. Another story I wanted to share when I worked for the Henry Ford Museum we had in our archives and article about one of the Ford Motor Company employees going down to Texas to pick up the car that was shot to Pieces by the police. It was such a well made car when Ford had the car driven back up it started on the first turn of the crank and it was driven back to Dearborn Michigan. The engineers up at Ford wanted to look at the car. I thought you might enjoy seeing that. Great video thank you for sharing

After the election, he was called "Landslide Lyndon." Dig aside, my mom and I went to the LBJ Library in Austin, where we saw a short film about his domestic accomplishments, which were legendary. It's a shame that he probably will be remembered mostly for the Vietnam War. His championship of Civil Rights made him a great president. That is his legacy. Lord knows what Goldwater would have done. BTW, I was a child in Fort Worth in '64, living with my mom and sister at our grandparent's home. I didn't know who or what a "Goldwater" was. All I knew is that it was worse than the devil. I hope you visited the Texas State Cemetery, where so many of the most influential people in Texas history lay. Beautiful, peaceful place. Good video.

Seems kind of bad though that the law took them down the way they did filling their cars full of holes and filling them with holes the way they did it they must have had a reason for doing it. I always wondered if there was another way that they could have taken them but maybe not anyway thank you for another awesome video I hope to see you again soon God bless love you lots. ❤️🙋

I like seeing the evidence that people are going to visit the graves of these people or any people. They are being remembered.

Interesting video. Strange fact, or story. Relatives always claimed we had some connection to Bonnie or Clyde, but they never said which. Frankly, I'd rather be related to Connie and Floyd. And no, not the '71 XXX Connie and Floyd, but the other ones. Another interesting bit, my dad did the same kind of knocking around as Michener did, riding the rails and hitching. Born in Bangor ME, or was it Sulphur OK, or maybe Snowball AR? He claimed all three. Anyway, another enjoyable outing with the two of you!
