@@sonishubham4603 Thanks for watching. I have an X-H2s and I love it. If you're looking to do video with your photo I would say to go for it. If not you would be better off with an X-T5 or X-H2.

@@jbivphotography yes sir But i don't know why i think stacked sensor is better than 40 mp sensor is that true ?
@victorcortez2 жыл бұрын
@@sonishubham4603 it has better rolling shutter (you won't see warping with fast panning or movements), also along with the CF express cards you get faster processing so you can record at 6.2K with the whole sensor, no crop in some video modes) along with the CF express cards files will record faster (also due to a lower MP resolution)

Watched the whole video (albeit at 2x speed lol). Truly appreciate the effort you put into these videos. Being a video editor, I can only imagine how long it takes to make not only the wedding video for the clients AND this over 1 hour video. You’re definitely one of if not the GOAT of wedding photographer/educators.

With all the heaviness in the world right now, your videos are a welcomed addition of pure joy and excitement. What I am thinking is that shooting with the GFX allows the photographer to stand back further (outside shots) and then crop in post for tighter/closer looking shots without any loss. The the Natural Effect filter eliminates any white noise that seeps into a photo where there is distance. While others are inspired to be wedding photographers watching this video, for me it is the opposite effect. The video reminds me of how much real work has to get done and how you really are putting all of your photographic superpowers on the line. Regardless of how much money you may make, if you get the wedding day wrong - no money can make it right. These were some beautiful souls at this wedding, I would not want to disappoint. And for these reasons I am out - meaning I will always pay for someone like John instead of thinking I could do it LOL. Indeed, I love the fact that John brings the work and still makes everyone comfortable. I love hearing his decision making process out loud.... love it love it love it! Awesome job.

"shooting with the GFX allows the photographer to stand back further (outside shots) and then crop in post for tighter/closer looking shots without any loss." I hear you, but the caveat is that in cropping, you will lose (to varying degrees) the MF "look," don't you think?
@MrSethisrael Жыл бұрын
@@smedelightworks8700 I am thinking what little I would lose.. probably is Mae up in post. There is simply more data and options that I think any slight loss would be good problem to have.. the consumer would not see it as the photographers do. Medium Format just rocks on many levels.

So, you'll be surprised : I've watched this full video (sic). Just like good TV series, episode by episode, with some replays and pauses, this is how you enjoy the whole of the flavours. This couple loves you, indeed, and (from what I've seen on your channel) they all do. I know for myself, the more I like my clients the more I enjoy working for them and get my ass off the floor to find whatever solutions I don't have... but manage to get anyway, so we all feel good when the thing is over. That event, some days ago, the city Maire called me for some incredibly nice words (when I know he always is so short on time), and booked me for next inauguration in June : "This is such pro stuff, superb images, and we definitely need you for that next event. Hope you're available !". When people love you they're happy to hand their money, for what you've created for them is priceless : souvenirs of unique moments, nuggets of happiness and joy, pieces of their lives from a point of view they can never have. This is fuel for motivation, and those 92 minutes display just that. Thank you !

Hey John, great videos for sure. Question...why such a low aperture with formals? Like 1.7 or 2.8 with two people? They look in focus for sure, but with such a short DOF I'm afraid of losing focus (have a wedding Sunday, I've done a lot of them, but usually at a sweet spot of maybe 5.6 or better). You have a secret I don't know about? 🙂

First, GREAT video! I love the way that you break things down and explain the "whys" of what you do. Question about your DETAILS shots: I saw that you shoot wide open, 40 & 80 f/1.7. Do you shoot higher shutterspeeds and let the ISO climb, or emphasize lower ISO and shoot as slow a shutter as you can? Won't say how I do it, as I don't want it to sound like one way is wrong or right... ;-) Thank you for doing this!
