4:52 pixel peeping is a real pet hate of mine. What we forget as Pro Photographers is that the average person out there who receive photos never pixel peep the photos to death like we seem to think. I still use 2 x R6’s and am as happy with them as I was the first day I got them 3yrs ago and if I had to update it would probably be to 2 x R6 mkII only because the higher megapixels don’t appeal to me. If I was to pick one of these 3 above it would probably be the R3.

I wonder which exposure time Liam has for the video frames. In my experience, if you for instance are filming with 30 fr/s at 1/60th, and f1.8 you cannot get low enough ISO to get right exposure on a sunny day, and therefore you need to use an ND-filter. But it seems like he isn't using any filters?

no ND filters, and usually filming at 1.8 or 1.2. if I'm filming outside in bright sun I'm usually just at the lowest ISO and the shutter speed I need to be at. something I like about the Z9 and Z8 is that i can go to 32,000 shutter speed if I need to (in photo and video mode)

I shot this entire BTS video with no ND at 1/8000th shutter because I have a 320 base ISO haha

I have a few weddings in 2025 and I was thinking about getting the Z 50mm 1.4 and sell the F 85mm 1.8 to get the money needed for the 50mm. What is your feedback or advice that you can give to someone who started wedding photography this year and wants to ramp up his booking calendar and skills? In the near future, I will be taking photos and videos at the conference. As part of this project, I plan to create a video report and record interviews with speakers and important guests. To do this, I will use vertical shooting. I would like to say that video shooting is not included in the contract, but I want to compliment the client so that he can cover the event on social networks and practice a little. To sync with the flash, I will use the camera's hot shoe. I also plan to use a receiver from the DJI Mic lavalier system, which will be installed on the \ cage. I've already done some testing at home and everything seems to be working properly. However, I'm still worried about the results of the experiment. I am concerned about how video recording will affect the quality of photos. However, it is worth remembering that the world loves cheeky people and does not tolerate whiners. What tips can you give me?

Almost always it’s auto face/eye tracking on the Z9 and Z8. That said, I have a function button set to scroll through 4 other focus options if I need them. Including small single dot focus for really precise compositions. Hope this helps!
