低域と高域のバランスの良さがJBL 4301の特徴と言えます。
低域用-20cmコーン型（116A）
高域用-3.6cmホーン型（LE25-2）
当時Aタイプ(アルニコ)のフロントバッフルが黒に対してBタイプはブルーでした。
カルフォルニアブルーに憧れが多かったため未だに購入時に悩ましい結果が。
