I seriously feel that all that surface area could have been better used for a bigger passive radiator and a bigger driver, but I’m not a professional. Awesome vid as always! :)

I was amazed how small the speaker is in comparison to the enclosure. I would have thought it to be bigger. Guess that's enough for this product though.

what is the version of your clip 4?

The odd thing about the Clip 4 is that the version I disassembled actually has a spot where a microphone would go, but it simply isn’t there. It is situated just to the top right of the driver and under the volume up button. It’s a small round hole with what I assume is some kind of waterproof membrane over it. Mine also has tiny ribbon cables instead of JST terminals for the play/pause/volume up/down buttons.

Decepção... Tenho a 3 e acabo d3 comprar a 4: praticamente a mesma potência sonora nas duas (embora citem 3,3 e 5 Watts RMS respectivamente) e áudio abafado na 4 com relação à 3, que é cristalino e tem bons graves. A Clip 4 só tem um pouco mais de graves do que a 3, mas realmente não compensou a compra. A Clip 4 não tem microfone para ligações telefônicas (uso a 3 quando tomo banho e posso atender e falar por ela, na 4 não), a Clip 4 não indica carga da bateria no celular e não tem entrada auxiliar (não uso, mas tem esta opção na 3 e na 4 não). Penso em devolver. Obs: Ambas originais, compradas na Fast Shop!

The Clip 3 is the better speaker. The passive radiator of the Clip 4 will get muffled if you put it on a belt loop. The 3 also has a mike and makes a great phone speaker. The 4 has no phone capability.

I’ve been thinking about having this in the (max temperature) shower, but don’t know if the heat and steam would damage the electronics or “warp the plastic cone”. Anyone have experience/ an opinion with this?

@@HBV90 Ah damnit. Oh well. I was going to do what I did on the old ones which was to remove the grill and put a different color of thin fabric over it. That logo'll just make it look off.
