@oscar029226 жыл бұрын
It's a a smart idea of making money. People often don't do their research and the problem is people bump to music that has a heavy bass. One would expect it to work perfectly but after a 3 weeks or so the bass will start to mess up and that's when you realize you should have bought the warranty :/. It's smart but at the same time dumb. The speaker are made for it, so why would this happen to it. Anywho, lucky you.

I have replaced the defective braid wire of the speaker, not with the preferred wire but with a normal soft, thin and flexible wire. Braid wire is a wire which is connected from the voice coil of the speaker (point for soldering the braid wire is on the speaker diaphragm) via diaphragm of the speaker to the outer terminal on the speaker. What I have performed in the video is a tough solution, Generally repairing shops or the technicians just replace the defective speaker with the new one by matching there size an their specification, you can do the same with basic tools. you can purchase it online by checking you old speaker specifications. Check the link below as an example: www.aliexpress.com/item/2pcs-3inch-4ohm-10W-78mm-gold-foam-edge-black-magnetic-multimedia-speaker/32581348021.html?spm=2114.40010508.4.2.Iy59aT

i had the same problem, solved as you did! Thanks! edit: actually after i've replaced the wires the problem reappeared because i didn't used proper cables that are malleable, so i've replaced the again and it's working fine until.... we'll see. So my advise would be to replace only one of the wires and have a check, if it's working fine then it's no use to replace also the working one.

@PiyushPrasoon4 жыл бұрын
@@suryashishkundu First of all, Please don't be grateful to me. I am just sharing the knowledge what I am having on basis of my knowing. Now let cone to the point. It completely depends on the sound/music or the song which you are playing in the speaker. Let's say for an example if you will play rock songs which is already having high bass effect, will definitely harm the speaker at maximum volume and the speaker diaphragm could be damaged. At the same time if you will play soft music on full volume it will not affect the speaker diaphragm much as due the les bass the diaphragm movement would be less and hence it will definitely extend the life of speaker. Conclusion: It completely owners/users responsibility to understand if the sound out put is to high with high bass effect the speaker volume should be decreased. If it is producing the start up sound then, go ahead and reset the JBL speaker. In case you are not getting the start up sound nor the shutdown sound, you need to check it with your local trustworthy technical expert. Reset Process: 1. Power on the unit by pressing the on/off button for about one second. 2. Press the "Vol - " button and the "Bluetooth" button together for more than 7 seconds. 3. The unit will display Red, Green, Blue light and go into power off stage, but with the on/off light and the light symbol lighted up. 4. The unit is now reset to factory settings. 5. Switch the Pulse OFF by pressing the on/off button for about one second. 6. You can now turn your device back on and it will be reset to factory settings. In case above method does not work with the speaker, try this:- *Turn speaker on then Hold volume + and phone button at same time. Red light will appear then speaker will power off and reset.

the best option is to replace the faulty speaker inside it. you could purchase it online. kzbin.info?redir_token=p3EbBG0bHp_4prF38ds0jBNNC2t8MTU4OTI5MTk1NUAxNTg5MjA1NTU1&event=comments&q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.aliexpress.com%2Fitem%2F2pcs-3inch-4ohm-10W-78mm-gold-foam-edge-black-magnetic-multimedia-speaker%2F32581348021.html%3Fspm%3D2114.40010508.4.2.Iy59aT&stzid=UgxEw7-yUjjkseZBhah4AaABAg.8u3UuTw6Yn48u4UOmXxiBd

This is a delicate speaker not to be play on the loudest sound and it is not "RUGGED". So it's life depends upon your polite habit with the gadget. I thing now you could decide whether to buy it or not.

There is a problem with speaker which has been explained in the video. It a problem with the speaker wire which is connecting the voice coil and the terminal of the speaker which is also know as braided wire.

My jbl charge 3 muffles when a song with bass is being played. Had exchanged it with JBL for a new one but the new one only last for a month and started to make weird muffle noise when bass took over the song... while my old one before i got it exchange lasted for half a year. Idk whats the problem.
@PiyushPrasoon7 жыл бұрын
it is a portable mini speakers, if you will play high bass song on maximum volume, definitely the small speaker's diaphragm movement will be high due to which diaphragm or the braid wire will be damaged and in result you will get the sound as you have stated above.

What I have performed in the video is a tough solution, Generally repairing shops or the technicians just replace the defective speaker with the new one by matching there size an their specification, you can do the same with basic tools. you can purchase it online by checking you old speaker specifications. Check the link below as an example: www.aliexpress.com/item/2pcs-3inch-4ohm-10W-78mm-gold-foam-edge-black-magnetic-multimedia-speaker/32581348021.html?spm=2114.40010508.4.2.Iy59aT Show less

I have this problem on my charge 3 when I put the speaker in place the right speaker dies because of loose solder on the wire and the sealed construction of these speakers makes the left speaker pump the diaphragm of the right speaker and the coil scratches and outputs a crack on the dead right speaker.
@PiyushPrasoon5 жыл бұрын
If you are thinking the outer left and right cover as a speaker diaphragm, then you are wrong. Cause JBL speakers are having the original speakers secured inside the speaker packaging/body. Once you will open it you could able to view both the speakers as I have shown in the video(watch the video carefully to see the internal speakers). Now coming to the point, in case you are having some future planing to replace the faulty speaker however in the meanwhile if you want to use the JBL with one speaker only, you could desolder the three wire (video time: 02:16)(or the red wire but remember the connections or take a pic before desoldering the wires from the defective speaker). This will work for you and later on you could buy a new speaker and replace it with the defective one.

Reminding if yoy remove the speakers of a diffrent speaker that is water proof the speaker will not be water proof enymore
@PiyushPrasoon6 жыл бұрын
You are right, however if you will think logically, what will you do with the speaker in water if it will not work properly. So the fist thing is to repair it so that at least the speaker could play music in a proper manner. Any way playing music while enjoying in the water or during bath is the rare activity among people. Hence loosing water proofing property of speaker will not be a big deal. Any way thanks for reminding this...! and of-course thank you for you valuable comment.

It might be possible the speaker diaphragm got broken, any way you could replace the internal damaged speaker with the new one. you can search for the speaker online or off line after getting the details from the damaged one. for example check out the link below: www.ubuy.co.in/catalog/product/view/id/10074538?gclid=Cj0KCQiAvebhBRD5ARIsAIQUmnknO8YSR72BLhn_lDz8BbDR7j-9ISPbbJo7AfSi0XTpSbL2gUCaGm8aAinUEALw_wcB

@PiyushPrasoon4 жыл бұрын
Hi @Isabella M, I do understand you feeling, however I would also not recommend you to go with the JBL purchase again. I would like to clarify that, this whole series of JBL is coming up with the crackling sound problem after 1.5 to 2 years approximately, well this is what I could share, base on my observation since it got launched.
