flip4 have batter instruments separation and wider sound state deeper bass response flip essential have more mid then flip4 and over all flip4 seen more balanced IMO

Okay imma clear everyone here The jbl flip essential is indeed louder cuz it was a higher frequency (80hz peek) and the flip 4 has (75hz peek) But the bass is better than flip essentials cuz flip 4 has lower frequency (20hz compared to 22hz in flip essential) But since the difference is quite small flip essential is better value more money it’s cheaper than flip 4

The Flip 4 is miles ahead of the Essential. What you're hearing in the video isn't loudness, it's distortion. Even on a live video like this, I can clearly discern the imaging of the Flip 4 being way clearer than that of the Essential.

Flip Essential (better sound in quality, louder, more power) Clip 4 (less weight, smaller, mono) easier to carry everywhere, in a backpack, more discreet in volume also depending on the use you want to make of it. the low frequencies are more present on the flip essential on the other hand. The flip essential has a lower bass than the JBL clip 4.

Jbl essential is the worst of all time. Its bass gives a headache. After listening to music, a few minutes in flip essential one must be irritating. Sound of Flip essential is not ear-pleasing Flip 4 is far better especially for a long time listening.
