1:13 Hard to believe it operates at 20 watts when connected via bluetooth. I thought it dropped down to 20 watts only when running off the internal battery. Can anyone confirm this?

It did when it came out to have a longer battery life but I heard the updated firmware 2.0 makes it louder now because a lot of people complained

Yeah, the difference in output power must have been depending on running on the built in battery or ac-adapter, not what sound signal you're using.

You can’t beat the JBL flip 4 for $100. Amazing sound quality and bass for that price range and the size the speaker is. If your don’t mind spending another $40 you can get the charge 3 or 4 that has even more deeper bass.

JBL Extreme 3 needs dab tuner. Bigger battery and more power. And jbl needs to make optimized profiles for every genre of music in the jbl app.

Yes I agree with the power this is more than power enough for anybody wanting a speaking to pooling and beach. It is over powering inside can’t get it more than prolly 75%. Outside yet to test but it’s very durable and better than thought and if u want more get two they pair together. I got it for 169$ on world wide audio on the Memorial Day sale.

Paddy Ohara That’s exactly why I returned mine to Best Buy and ordered the xtreme 1. Louder outdoors and still has good bass inside with great mids and highs. Smaller and cheaper. If you only want an inside speaker return your jbl speaker and get an Onyx studio 5. It doesn’t have as much battery but as you said you use it indoors it’s perfect. You plug it into the wall. Has 50 watts and the bass punches hard as A MF. Better than the xtreme 2.
