No, I almost be sure like a swear that he charge 5 has the equalizer all to the top or like that and the xtreme might have it stock or less. And remember that’s not the full power of the xtreme 4, it has more power when powered by the wall.

Xtreme is better. But for the price/quality ratio I recommend the Charge 5

as far as i know they dont have aux in (line in) for wired connection. So if you are going to listen to music its ok but might experience lag when watching movies due to bluetooth transmission latency (I have only ancient charge 2+ which i use as a soundbar for my PC and its not good for movies, speaking videos through bluetooth. sound is out of sync with video. hopefully charge 2+ has aux in so i can use cable too... Just keep in mind and research the topic for these newer models. (charge 5 WIFI version might solve the latency issue during movies if its present)

So what I got from this is that they both produce the same or similar decibel levels, but the sound from the Xtreme 4 is stereo and it also provides a different sound signature? Is the audio from the Xtreme 4 clearer than the Charge 5 in person? Can't really tell if the audio quality is too different through a video.
