Wither Roses is what I needed to make a Wither Skeleton farm, to be able to get a few more beacons in my world! 2 Shulkerboxes of eggs produced 134 Wither Roses! I Just leave the adult chickens until they have produced enough eggs for the next round. Works like a charm.

I would recommend to kill the ender dragon twice before making this farm, so you'll still be able to go to end city's

Alternatively, you can skip the dragon altogether and go out placing blocks til you get to an island, and start your journey from there. I've already killed the dragon and got all the portals, but it's easier if trying to Speedrun to get elytra and not die from dragon or enderman. A tad bit safer.

Alternatively alternatively, you can kill it once, go to the outer islands, hunt for another end gateway and then build the farm there. I have two gateways very close to each other so this is a viable option :)

The ended dragon is easy to kill just kill it don’t build out thousands of blocks and by the time you make a farm like this beating the ended dragon will be a walk in the park

As of today September 27th 2023 this is amazing and fantastic and functional. Thank you JC!!!!!!!!! I would advise making an infinite water source below the portal before you start and just waterlogging the are around before you start. Keeps the endermen from bothering you: then you can just make bamboo scaffolding up to the trap door instead of the shute and ladders. Ps: scaffolding is your best friend building most farms in bedrock 😀 Have fun everyone!! Thanks again JC!!!

NOTE: Make sure you check the obsidian blocks. I have to replace the middle one on the diagonal every time I use it. If I don't, the wither escapes. Not a big deal as long as you put it back each time. Current version as of today.

For anyone whose mushroom does not grow: Instead of dirt, use a nylium block to plant/grow your mushroom on. Nylium blocks can be found in the Nether in crimson forests and warped forests. Make sure you mine the nylium block with a tool that's enchanted with silk touch, otherwise it'll drop as netherrack.

My experience w/ the previous Wither Killer: 1/ Every time I use it obsidian blocks break. That means that I suspect the components of the wither rose farm would as well. 2/ I made this very same redstone contraption under the floor of the wither killer (the floor in that tutorial was closer to the gateway). It worked fine and no components ever broke.

Ah, I missed the part where he instructs to fix broken parts of the farm. Still, if you build it under the floor and build the floor three blocks under the obsidian then you won't need to repair the redstone every time you run it.

Tried to use this twice, once today, and once yesterday. Both times the wither wasn’t suffocating and I ended up having to kill him with a sword. I built this farm a year or more ago and this is the first time it’s failed. Perhaps a new update broke it?

25.February.24 v1.20.64 on ps4 WORKING destroying the gateway portal was possible with a red mushroom (tried it on 2 different gateways and it took 2-3 tries each for the mushroom to grow right) yes, wither gets stuck in the bedrock cage too and dies IMPORTANT: make sure you place the obsidian platform as shown in the video (facing west) AND make sure the additional 2 obsidian blocks under the gateway are there before you summon the wither otherwise he will slip out and break free. im gonna build the entire thing in a couple if days because after my small little testing it looks like it should work perfectly. optional: i recommend building this thing at a end gateway a couple of thousand blocks away and not on your main end island. just in case a wither manages to get out or stuff gets patched in the future. you dont want a wild wither on your main end island (where you possibly build other things) when this farm breaks at like 5 or 10.000 blocks away you can simply leave the area, unload everything and never come back there when you dont want to kill the wither manually

Hell yeah! The mushroom growing didn't work for me at the spawn gateway so I went through the gateway and flew around till I found another gateway and the mushroom grew perfectly on that gateway destroying the gateway portal. Yeehaw! gateway.

If u cover a witch hut In 2 layers of glass (only do the inside) This will find the spawn block of the witch. Then break all the glass, marking the spawning block. Make a trident killer with the spawn block inside

I just built this today (1 July 2024) and it worked as expected. Unfortunately though, I didn't get the achievement for killing the Wither 😞 I'm assuming that's because I didn't cause any damage to kill it; the bedrock did it all 🤔

But however, even though I have used this farm twice previously with no flaws, when I went today (04/20/23) I ended up having to fight the Wither around the End Island. I did everything as I did before but this time the Wither destroyed the farm, the Island and the Sand Dupper in one of your other videos. If you've got any thoughts I'd love to hear them. It can help, but the wither can destroy obsidian just like any other block. So it can protect the Redstone once but so could any other block.

I tried this in Bedrock and it no longer works. You cannot grow the mushroom so it covers the center of the gate. Story over.

I have located 4 different portals and I had tried growing a mushroom in each coordinate within 5 blocks of the center and either it won't let me plant the mushroom, or it plants but does not grow or it grows but never comes close to the center block. You are likely either not using bedrock or you have an outdated version.

This farm works great, it's worked 18 out of 20 times, advice, don't lag your system with chickens, first time the farm failed I had shot about 30 chests of eggs into the kill chamber,, I think the mob density blew the wither out of the portal spot, also place the last wither skull as you go down the waterfall, I bumped him on another go and had a really bad day 😂😂😂😅😅 version 1.20.61 still good

If you're still having trouble with the red mushrooms, you can try placing the mushroom on mycelium. That should allow it to grow into a giant mushroom.

I can only get this to work the first time. After the first wither I reset everything and the 2nd time wither doesnt take damage from the bedrock, and the farm breaks. Edit: i think i found a fix. Put obsidian on the bottoms/tops of ALL of the bedrock. I think when i only put on the recommended obsidian the wither spawned on the side of the block and wasnt suffocating

You don't break the end gateway. Usually if your making a build like this in the end its wide to have wings and rockets. Then just fly. Or find an area further from the main island that has 2 portals in close proximity. Thats what I did. I have this wither rose farm and jcs sand duper bother 2500 blocks from the main end island.

im gonna hold off until the new update. I got this guy feeling it's gonna glitch the redstone on Bedrock again. I had an auto sorter (from this channel) and it worked for 3 years on my ps4 and then on PS5 until the Deep Dark update. Afterwards the auto sorter just spits out the shovels, the dirt and all the blocks into the first chest.

Does not work anymore. Tried growing the red mushroom in dirt, podzol, and even mycellium with a whole stack of bonemeal each and none of them grew. I even tried to grow diagonally from the gateway to no avail. Seems like this has been patched.

Yo JC Playz , I have a world from 1.15 I think and kept updating it and everything ran pretty smooth till 1.19.31 where Lush caves spawn in the world since they generate under y level 0 but I cant find no axolotls , and tried going over 3 different lush caves but couldnt find any no spawn . Can you suggest what can I do to get axolots and the different caves sizes that they spawn in ? I guess .

they still work as of 1.19 bedrock, for a good and efficient portal ticking farm use navynexus's 100,000 xp/hr gold farm. I have the same farm in my world and it works perfectly.
